Guide did not speak fluent English

I booked the Banff Area & Johnston Canyon+Gondola 1-Day Tour from Calgary for 3 of my guests visiting me in Calgary. It didn't start off well with the bus breaking down and it took some time for them to be on their way.
We were pleasantly surprised being taken to more spots than mentioned in the itinerary. However, the guide was fluent in Chinese but spoke broken English which couldn't be understood. It would have been appreciated if we were informed before that the guide was not fluent in English.
Everything else went well as planned.

Less is more

We did the day tour -Banff Journey aviator. Pick up was from Canmore and included in the visit was Lake Louise, Johnstone Canyon, Bow River, Secret Place and Banff. Our tour guide was really nice but only a driver. He didn’t get out with us except in Lake Louise because he couldn’t find any parking. Everything was very rushed and less should have been included. AJ didn’t have enough knowledge and provided limited information with very minimal commentary on route.

Hello, thank you for the review. Calgary Tours does not offer any Canmore pick up and AJ is not our tour guide. Our tour guide will always give guests accompany onsite. We believe Calgary Tours could provide you better experience. Thank you

AJ did a great job with our tour with boundless energy and positivity. His knowledge was extensive and his patience was exemplary. We learned a great deal about the area and appreciated his attention to detail - especially the way he remained conscious of our schedule while avoiding traffic jams with incredible expertise! Great job AJ!

An amazing journey with an excellent tour guide who made us fall in love with this land. Unfortunately, I left an item on the vehicle during the return trip, but the travel agency and the driver promptly helped resolve the issue. Next time, if any relatives or friends want to travel, Cola Travel will be the only choice！

Banff in Dec is gorgeous!

good experience, this tour is good if it’s your first timeat banff and you want to save money. the guide is really friendly and the instructions are clear :)
