One of the worst adventure trips I've ever paid for. The bus had a huge crack in the front window and the window next to me had much water damage and no one could see out of it so it blocked my views. The bus itself was dirty and the windows had many dirt spots. The driver barely spoke and after explaining to him I paid for a tour, he said a few words but repeated himself as though he didn't know the information. So disappointed.( it was not his fault that there weren't many animals around but he could have spoken about their habitat, or???)

Unfortunately, this wild life adventure was very dissatisfying. The bus that picked us up had a huge window that was defective. We could only look out of one side. The rest of the windows were filthy too. The driver barely spoke. I understand that is a gamble if wildlife will appear but he could have told us stories. It was a waste of money.

We did a tour in mid April with Warren and to be honest it was one of the best experiences you could have in Jasper. Warrens knowledge of the area is second to none. He is a passionate Canadian proud to show off his country. We are Australians who have never seen such an amazing environment. It is a must do when in Jasper. Lee and Katrina.

First of all, we started off with a beautiful sunny day. It was a treat to be picked up at our hotel, so we didn't have to drive. We saw deer. elk, and a pair of bald eagles. Our guide drove us to the site where the rams are often sited, but they were not there. He drove all the way to Maligne Lake looking for moose, we saw fresh track, but that was it. The whole trip he told us interesting stories and fascinating facts about the local wildlife, he was so passionate about all the animals, and so knowledgeable, At one stop he got out various antlers and a beaver pelt, so interesting to see them close up. I would definately recommend this tour.

Our guide was pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. I was disappointed with several aspects. First; seeing animals in the wilderness is always a crap shoot so there should have been more stops to take pictures of the amazing mountain scapes. The driver gets a wonderful view while the passengers are trying to snap pictures whizzing by beautiful panoramic views. Second; driver never asked if we needed to stop to relieve ourselves (after all, we just had breakfast and morning coffee and juice). Third; the microphone is voice activated and was never close enough to the mouth for anyone to hear what he was saying. Fourth; driver never took a head count and left 4 people behind at a rest stop (that I requested). I told him people were missing on the shuttle bus. Had I not spoke up I'm not sure how far we would have travelled.

Geweldig aardige gids Dieter. Tour stelde helemaal niets voor. Met de bus beetje langs de hoofdweg rijden en beesten langs de weg bekijken. Dat kan je zelf met je eigen auto veel beter, zie je veel meer en kom je op betere plaatsen. Dieter vertelde wat leuke feiten maar verder was het een massatoerisme uitje; met z’n allen in de bus met beslagen ramen. Absoluut geen aanrader. Erg suf bejaarden reisje.

There was a hiccup because the company we booked through failed to notify the tour company, but we called and they hopped right into action and picked us up reasonably quickly. Right off the bat we saw a large herd of elk. We were able to get out of the bus and take some great pictures at a safe distance. From there we drove a minute or two and saw two bighorn sheep climbing on a cliff. From there we drove about 30 minutes and saw 3 moose in the forest just off the road. On the way back, we saw two more moose. The tour guide was great at spotting the animals and was very friendly and provided very interesting information.

Well informed guide whose knowledge of Jasper’s wildlife allowed us to see a bear, multiple herds of bighorn sheep, a bald eagle, hawk owl, American dipper, two sets of cow moose with their offspring, a bull moose, beaver dams and lodge. She interpreted the local terrain and history and insights into local lore.
