Best experience ever! We did the full day ride and it was truly magical. I hadn't been on a horse for a number of years, but Leah, our amazing wrangler was incredible and re-orienting me to riding.
The scenery was fabulous and the horses were *absolutely* incredible on the terrain. Their temperaments were amazing and they knew exactly what do to at all times. The river crossing and the trotting were highlights.
I think Fall is a great time to go. We had our light jackets and gloves on all day, and were super comfortable. My horse's name was Lonesome, and he was one of their older horses with tons of experience. He tested me a bit by trying to stop for a snack from time to time, but with a bit of a nudge, he was right back on track.
I can't wait to go back next year for some day-long rides as well as a multi-day trip. So happy to have found such an amazing place so close to Vancouver!

Fabulous ride and horses. We have done many horseback tours and this is one of the best. The horses were well trained and sure footed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The scenery was fabulous. We crossed rivers on the horses and visited mountain lakes. There were old growth and new growth forests. We would highly recommend these outfitters. It was everything we expected and more! We had three generations horseback riding from 19 to 79 years. They were very accommodating to all ages. Amazing Day! Love their dogs!

I have ridden horses all my life and always do trail rides when on vacation, which is why I was riding with Copper Cayuse. These horses are extremely well taken care of, my guide Claire was great, and the views are unmatched. Would highly highly recommend taking a ride with them if you find yourself in Pemberton/Whistler!

An amazing day! Our guides Olivia and Brian were fantastic with their assistant Fergus. We did the full day and the 2nd half it was just the four of us. Horses were fabulous and I put my brave pants on and enjoyed a canter a couple of times! A quick stop off at Birkenhead lake was a lovely bonus.
I would recommend taking two bottles of water with you, the website said fill ups were available which didn’t happen. I would have paced my water out a bit more if I’d known. Not a major issue.
I would highly recommend the full day if you’re a bit more of an experienced rider and you want to get the chance to canter (even got a little gallop in!)
I will definitely do this trip again.

Velvet usually you can refill your water bottles at one of the streams, sorry that was not suggested to you. Come back for a three day, by the time you finish with that you will not have to worry about what pants you have on

My tween daughter and I spent the day having a great time. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The scenery was breathtaking, the horses had personalities, the guides were knowledgeable and a pleasure and the stop by the lake was a fun surprise. We are already planning on a return trip.

Beautiful Ranch, Beautiful horses!
An amazing well balanced day with lots of riding time and scenic pit stops.
Very well organized, and Josh our guide was excellent, and full of knowledge about surrounding areas👍
Highly suggest this outfitter for short rides or day/multi day trips.
We will definitely be coming back!

Booked the full day Birkenhead tour for a fairly large group (7 riders) to celebrate a milestone birthday. From the start, the staff was always quick to respond to phone calls or e-mails and was very helpful in coordinating the booking and answering our questions.
Our day with CCO ran smoothly and efficiently, yet we never felt that we were being rushed. They did a great job of accommodating our different levels of experience, matching each of us with a horse to suit our ability and confidence. The horses seemed happy and healthy and did an impressive job of negotiating the sometimes steep and rocky trails. The guides paid close attention to our horses on the steep climbs, making sure that they weren't overworked. This is a real trail ride experience over varying and rugged terrain, this is not your usual commercial trail ride where the horses are on autopilot over a worn out and muddy loop that they've done 20 times that day.
We'd highly recommend the full day tour and would love to return for a multi-day trip in the future, as the 'base camp' looked like a beautiful spot to spend a few days!

Hi, my wife is interested in a full day trek, possibly 24/25 or 26th april, she is an extremely experienced rider and i want her to have a super ride, can you cater for this, she normally comes back saying she has just ridden an old nag lol!! let me know asap and ill book in. thank you for your time Ritchie
