Der Flug war sehr gut organisiert und sehr professionell. Der Flug selbst war ein tolles Erlebnis. Toller Ausblick von oben und die Landung am Wasser war gar nicht zu spüren.
Kompliment an die Piloten.
Wahrscheinlich die effizienteste Variante um von Vancouver (downtown) nach Victoria zu reisen.

Great ride to Victoria

Great team running the show. From check in through drop off, everyone was wonderful. This is a splendid way of getting across to Victoria.
The only hiccup is getting to and from Vancouver Airport to the seaplane terminal. Instructions on where to get off could have been clearer and the options (there are 2 not just the Harbour Air shuttle) on the return trip would have saved us a 40 minute wait.

The best commute from Vancouver to Vancouver Island

The best commute from Vancouver to Vancouver Island is by seaplane. Flying was the perfect transportation for our mid-week getaway to Victoria.

When researching ways to visit Victoria on Vancouver Island, we decided to take a seaplane over the ferry to maximise our time whilst making the most of the opportunity to take in the scenery, as it is not only a direct flight to Victoria but a scenic flight too.

Harbour Air has the most efficient check-in and boarding process. Located in the heart of the city, so easily accessible, only a five-min walk from our hotel. You need to be there 30-minute prior; after a quick check-in, you can relax in the beautiful lounge, enjoying a beverage of your choice. You can even purchase a glass of champagne.

The take-off was incredibly smooth, and we noticed the regular commuters carried air buds to reduce the noise, although we were not bothered by the noise.

Magical scenery over the 35-minute flight, definitely ticking off another bucket list item for Wayne. It has been a month of them since we arrived in Canada.

Harbour Air has a very flexible booking process, whereby if you need to make any changes, you can do this up to four hours online before your flight with no charges assuming you have booked a flex fare.

The flight was smooth and simply just fun, with plenty of smiles from even the seasoned commuters. If you want to save time, we recommend booking your flight with Harbour Air. You will not be disappointed.

One you have to do when in Vancouver

the whole experience of flying on a seaplane from Vancouver harbour, landing at Victoria harbour then flying back to Vancouver was something to remember as never done a flight from water to water,the view was amazing so many little islands scattered about,boats here,there and everywhere and the noise from the twin otter was just crazy but nice.
It isn't cheap but very enjoyable,even my other half who isn't a big fan of flying said it was very enjoyable.
the first flight I wasn't by the window but the second flight I took a video of the journey as I was by the window and had my camcorder with me.

Journey to Victoria
Free shuttle from Vancouver to the seaplane terminal. Just a short walk to the seaplane terminal from the bus stop. Friendly staff at the terminal/ flying beaver. Free drink at the beaver bar as were gold package passengers. Really nice Canadian bar overlooking the water. Great spot to watch the seaplanes coming in and going out. Smooth flight into Victoria. Good smooth flight
A very good smooth and efficient flight.
I would definitely say this is the best way to get from Van to Vic or vice versa.
Only grumble is we were charged for excess baggage only to be told 10 mins later that this was in error.
Money out money back so a minor problem really.

All about safety
Unfortunately on our way to Victoria the weather suddenly changed. Rather than take any risk the pilot immediately turned around back to Vancouver where the weather was fine and landed. Despite not being able to explore Victoria we had a great aerial tour of the area with beautiful views and a vibrant rainbow that seemed to follow us the entire time. The staff at the “airport” couldn’t have been nicer snd our money was promptly refunded (we could reschedule another day because of other commitments).

A must do if you are in either Vancouver or Victoria. Whilst the seats are nowhere near spacious, look at the size of the plane, the trip is great fun with superb views of the area as you pass over. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It was a great experience for both of us.

Very scenic way to travel
I always wanted to take the seaplane to go to Victoria and return and finally did it.

Harbour Air ask you to arrive 30min before your scheduled time. When you arrive, you have a very nice cosy lounge area with complimentary coffee.

Check-in is very quick, easy and efficient. Small Cafe and a boutique for souvenirs.

Boarding the seaplane is quick, you have the safety belt for the floating device to attach as well as your regular seatbelt.

Security demonstration are done through and I-Pad placed by the co-pilot and ensure if we have any questions before taking off.

The best part is the scenic view of Vancouver when you leave as well as when you arrive in Victoria and all the islands and water along the way. It is sooo beautiful!

For tourist point a view, it is stunning!

The landing is very cool!

With only 30 minutes flight, definitely recommend to anyone who wants to do a long or short trip to Victoria.

For the efficiency and the scenic beauty of the land, I would definitely recommend Harbour Air as your first option to travel to Victoria!
