GIFTED, PASSIONATE PEDICAB DRIVER SOREN

Soren is very special and has a lot of passion for what he does. He is very gifted and funny and he really gets you engaged as he shows his passion for Victoria as he goes through each site.
My favorite was and is the Queen's Gardens. I believe it is called the Manor. It is special with REAL SPIRITS I could feel in it. His love for Victoria really came through there as he expressed his love for that garden.
He took us on the castle and that was a heartbreaking love story. Then, he took us to Dallas Road, Beacon Hill Park area...wonderful!! And he tells AMAZING ghost stories.
I have to say that being on this tour in my first week in Victoria really helped shape my view of this incredible city.

The overall experience was great! Chris was amazing! He was knowledgeable and witty. He knew detailed information and highlighted what we wanted for the tour. He also gave us dining recommendations for places we would have never found on our own. Definitely recommended!!

Fantastic Craigdarroch Castle and Garden Tour

Victoria Pedicabs put together a custom version of their castle tour for us — with a pickup at the Victoria Clipper terminal, a tour through the James Bay neighborhood, a ride through Beacon Hill Park, before heading up to Craigdarroch Castle and the nearby Queen's gardens. From there we continued with a tour of the downtown areas, along with recommendations for dining and shopping after the tour.
Alan Thimot was our Pedicab tour guide. He was absolutely wonderful! Great personality and tremendous knowledge of the city and all its offerings! We had our 14 year old granddaughter with us and he interacted and engaged with her in a way that kept her interested and entertained! The almost 4 hours we spent with Alan flew by.
We would recommend this to anyone who wants a personal, close and upfront tour of Victoria!!

All I can is Wow
My wife and I called and talked to Heloise about 2 weeks before our trip to Victoria. We requested a Pedicab ride to the Craigdarroch Castle. She picked us up right at the ship, took us on a tour through Victoria, and to the castle. Along the way we stopped at several sites to learn more about the history of not only the castle but the city. This lady is very knowledgeable about the town and you can tell she's done her homework. She went with us through the castle as well because it's a self guided tour. She knew all of the history of the castle and shared it with us as we made our way stopping in all the rooms and telling us what each one was used for. A lot of interesting things happened there you'll have to see it for yourself to understand. If you take a Pedicab tour be sure and request Heloise. She made the tour worthwhile.

Well I wish I had asked for our pedicab driver's card because I can't remember his name think maybe John. Middle aged cabinetmaker who migrated from east coast of Canada to Victoria 12 yers ago. He is amazing wealth of knowledge. The Chilean monkey trees, neighborhoods, tour of castle, etc. and lugging two people up hills at least 350 pounds of weight! Wish we had more time to explore this wonderful city!

Fun, fun exerience!

What started as a 2 hour tour to Craigdarroch Castle turned into so much more! Our guide, Chris Hamel, was fun and energetic with a wealth of knowledge about Victoria. He is passionate about Canada and Victoria in particular. We were skeptical that he could pedal the 4 of us, but he did without a problem. We had planned on a 2 hour tour to the Castle but enjoyed ourselves so much we length ened our tour. Highly recommend and ask for Chris!

Relaxing, local's tour
Booked the Craigdarroch Castle tour. Great experience. Gerry Verstraten was an energetic, enthusiastic peditour operator. He shared great stories and local knowledge. We enjoyed so much that we extended our time with him to visit other beautiful areas in Victoria. Highly recommended.
