Excellent tour to give you the overview highlights of Victoria. Helps you to see where you want to explore in more depth. Also provided time to explore the beauty of Butchart Gardens. Sandy was very engaging and made for a fun experience.

The perfect way to see Victoria

Making our group tour was fast and easy. Communications with owner, Darwin, was excellent. We had his driver Sandy do or tour. She was a blast and fit right in with our crazy group. She was so much fun, we invited her to join us for our lunch. We could not be happier with how our day went.

Victoria BC tour

Our driver was the owner Darwin. He was so nice and accommodating. We got off the ship later than expected. He took us straight to the gardens before all the buses arrived. That gave us time to walk through the gardens and still get back to town to see all of the other sights. I would highly recommend his company and we will definitely contact him again if we come back to Victoria.

Excellent choice for seeing Victoria BC - A+ to Darwin

Darwin was an incredible tour guide for the City of Victoria and Butchart Gardens. Due to the amount of time available for our ship in-port visit, we didn't have time for a full half-day, but Darwin packed the time available with so much that we now want to come back to see Victoria and the Butchart Gardens in more depth. He was so very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond. You can't go wrong in booking with his company

A+ Darwin

Thanks to Darwin, our shore time in Victoria was saved! We had a fantastic ride to the Gardens and Darwin provided excellent guidance on what to see, how to see it, and a great explanation of the history of the Butchart Gardens.. our Royal Princess cruise and passengers weren’t properly prepared to disembark and we were held up an hour! Darwin was patiently waiting when we disembarked and quickly hustled us to his beautiful van to beat the big bus travelers!
His knowledge and love of the area was very evident as we traversed his town. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

The Best Tour You Can do!

What a great tour provided by Darwin!
Picked up at the cruise port and escorted through the city before it awoke as once things opened up it would be crowded and inaccessible.
Darwin had us at Butchart Gardens before all the big buses, and walked us in to give us pointers on the best way to tour around!
Afterwards, we were treated to a additional city tour of some very interesting and historical sights, added bonuses were both of the areas castles!
Highly recommend this tour and Darwin knows how to give the best experience!

Fabulous Tour Experience

Several friends and I were in Victoria, B.C. for only one day and wanted to see as much of the city as we could, including visiting the beautiful Butchart Gardens. Darwin picked us up at the cruise terminal and provided us with a vast amount of historical information throughout the tour. Additionally, he guided us to the most beautiful areas in the Butchart Gardens to make sure we didn't miss key photos. The tour was so awesome we extended it so Darwin could take us to see both the Hatley Castle at the Royal Roads University and the Craigdarroch Castle. I feel so fortunate that we arranged out tour with Darwin as we all had an A+ experience. I highly recommend Surfside Adventure Tours for those seeking a quality tour in Victoria.

The Very Best There Is

Darwin is the best there is when it comes to providing amazing customer services combined with his excellent knowledge of all things Victoria! Through all our emails back and forth, he consistently responded in a timely manner and answered all my queries concisely while offering suggestions along the way.

We were also incredibly lucky to have him as our guide and driver on the day of the tour I organized for twelve of us when we arrived in port. As a Vancouverite and several time visitor to Victoria, I learned and saw more than in all the years I have previously visited.

And, to top it off, through his contact with a local winery, they opened up and gave us a private tasting when they were not even accepting people. Imagine that!

Great tour!

We highly recommend this tour. Darwin met us at the Harbour Air terminal and spent fours hours with us showing us the highlights of Victoria and Butchart Gardens. It was a great trip and worth every penny.

Awesome Tour!!

When visiting Victoria, this tour led by Darwin is a must! It was absolutely phenomenal!! Our original tour was supposed to start at 4pm but Darwin contacted me earlier and advised he would come pick us up at 2:30 which was shortly after our cruise ship arrived. We appreciated the earlier time as we were able to beat the crowds and enjoy the gardens while there was still daylight. Darwin was very knowledgeable and took us to several hidden gems in Victoria -- these are places tourists normally don’t get to visit if they are with those big tours with 20+ people. He gave us great information on Butchart Gardens and helped us take pictures. This was probably one of the best guided tours I have ever been on! It was well worth the time and money. Thank you Darwin for a great tour of Victoria!!
