I must have made a mixup when booking, setting up my arrival point in Baddeck; I figured this out the day before - sent off a panicked email and phone call - both promptly answered and re-assured that we would be picked up at the cruise ship port ... WHEW !
overall - well organized tour and nice not to be on the big bus waiting to get on and off. There were 4 couples plus our giude/driver in a 12 passenger van which was comfortable. Masking is a personal choice.
I was glad that we could make multiple stops according to Frank's whims and experience, with stops as long as we wanted. I esp appreciated that we spent more time driving around than sitting down for an expensive lunch. I prebooked before leaving home and it was handled efficiently. Departure was as advertised despite our delay in docking and return to the port was one hour prior to scheduled all-aboard
Definitely a great alternative to booking via the cruise line both price-wise and experience-wise

Arranged this trip from home. Everything was arranged perfectly. We were picked up at the pier where our ship was docked and returned one hour before sailing time as promised. Our driiver was excellent and stopped at various sight seeing spots to allow us to take photographs. Perfect day out and would recommend this Company to anyone that would like to see a bit of the Cabot Trail.a

Jerry was an excellent guide through the spectacular scenery of Cape Breton National Park and the Cabot Trail. Frequent stops and photo opportunities abound. He answered every question we had.

Everything was perfect with our tour. Our time in port had been changed but this proved to be no problem. We were picked up as agreed and brought back to the ship in plenty of time. The adventure was very good and were taking to lovely places to get an experience of the Cabot Trail. If you book this tour I don't think you will be disappointed.

Our tour guide was a substitute driver, but his knowledge of the area and knowing the best views gives him a high rating. It was worth the drive to see the Cabot Trail and nature at it's finest!

amount of picturesque locations we visited. Could not have seen all these wonderful areas on our own. Tour guide Caroline was soo knowledgeable and answered all questions and took us to some wonderful locations. The Cabot Trail tour was the highlight of our Maritime visit

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour of the Cabot Trail with with Cabot Discovery Tours! Our tour guide Harry was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the toured areas and knew how to pick all the interesting spots to stop. We would highly recommend this tour and tour company. Great way to explore the Cabot trail of Nova Scotia!

What can I say but our day with Jerry on the cabot trail discovery tour, it was magical and exceeded our expectations! We could have driven ourselves but thought it would be fun to have a local take us around and hit all the special and hideaway stops. Jerry was full of information and great stories. Took us to a great place for lunch and several spots to get out and hike. Our tour lasted over 11 hours and so worth every cent. We would highly recommend this tour either private or group. Thanks so much for making our Cabot Trail experience one we will cherish for ever!

Excited service and most accommodating host. I highly recommend this tour. It was well worth the investment. Allowing you to see the sights and not having to concentrate on driving.

Our private Cabot Discovery Tour with Jerry was wonderful. Jerry was a great driver and a great conversationalist. The Highlander vehicle was very clean and comfortable. Jerry was very considerate about our comfort through the day and made stops for photos and a great hike on the Skyline Trail. The hike was a response to our specific request to have that experience. The tour was everything we had hoped for and we are very glad that we didn’t do the drive ourselves because we could focus on the beautiful scenery and not the road. We highly recommend this private tour.

Do you provide pick up/return at the cruise port? Our NCL cruise will arrive at Synney cape breton island on 8/28 at 9am and depart on 5pm. Does this tour have time to return us back to the ship?

they did for us (we were on Princess); they have GREAT customer service, so just call them or email them and they can confirm all of the details for you. They were VERY conscious of the time restrictions and they have plenty of cruise ship passengers on their tours. At one point, the guide had to re-route us in order to accommodate both the time and the attractions. Hope this helps ! We loved our tour and our guide ! enjoy .....
