My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sightseeing Cruise. The trip was relaxing, provided a great perspective of the city and surrounding areas from the water and the guide was extremely informative. I would highly recommend.

It can be breezy on the deck so depending on the weather you might need to wrap up! You get a good view of Quebec with the famous hotel at the top as you sail away and when you return to the dock. It was a pleasant journey but you do remain on the wrong side of the bridge to see Montmorency Falls.
It is narrated in both English and French but if you are on deck, as we were, it can be hard to hear as it was rather windy.

In broad strokes, the boat was well-kept and it traveled to the areas promised, but as other reviewers noted, you did not get too close to the waterfall. So if you are expecting a fabulous trip to the waterfall, and want to get close to it, you are not on the right boat. Overall, a pleasant afternoon. Read on for a pros and cons and tips on seating.

The ship was large, with plenty of room for seating both indoors and outdoors. It did not seem as if any people were stuck without a seat.
It was clean and bathrooms were nice.
Ship moved very slowly, so the pace was such that you could get up and walk around with no problem at all times.

The announcer was excellent. He announced everything in French and in English, but it was very hard to hear him. I think they need to turn the mic up. Was a windy day, and I realize that they are fighting against the wind a little bit, but it would be nice to be able to hear him more because his stories seemed quite interesting.
Tips:
There are several places to sit, but on one of the upper levels there are barstools, and these really seem to allow for a better view because the stools are higher and the railing is not in the way as much.
It was a bit of a chilly day, so to warm us up a little we tried the local Maple whiskey cream. It was a delightful addition and is available at the bar.

Host was a lot of fun and made the tour an entertaining and educational experience from start to finish.
The only miss-step was when he announced a special deal on maple-infused whiskey at the bar, which seemed to catch the bar staff off guard as a crowd of us arrived to order shots.

The tour on the St Lowrence was comfortable and the guide most informative but the whole experience was unfortunately spoilt by the atrocious weathet wet and foggy so we could not really see most of the sights being described.

The activity itself was not bad but the narrator was disrupting enjoying the sceneries.
Another thing is buying the tickets directly at the place will cost much less than buying it online through trip advisor.

Dancer3307 was asking the distance from where cruise ships dock to the meeting point for the tour - 10 Rue Dalhouse. Since I will arrive off a cruise ship - dock 30, I am wondering it is a walkable distance or is a cab needed?

The distance is very walkable, but it is all uphill. It is probably a distance of only 4-5 short city blocks. You can take the Funiculaire du Vieux-Québec to help with the steepest part of the walk. Generally the tours begin right next to the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac near the Place d'Armes park.

I would say yes there is access to the main deck. However, it’s a ship, so passage to rest rooms might include going over a lip at doorways. Best to contact cruise line. It was a great tour, though.

Actually there is no pier. You are on a street, then in a parking lot, then walking up the stairs onto the boat.
