It might be the only one from Hillarys but it's the best!

Booking process, luggage, costs and available discounts makes it a great holiday. New catamaran ferry along with boarding and disembarking is easy.

Beautiful island and a must see while in Perth

In my opinion Rottnest Island is a must see when in Perth. The little quakkas and beautiful beaches are stunning so having a full day here is a must. This tour offers the ferry (and pick up from Perth city) as well as a bike rental.
And while I loved the ferry and the island, I didn’t necessarily enjoy the biking as it was a very hot day. So if I’d go again I would pick to take the hop-on hop-off bus around the island and I would rather take my time on the beaches.

If you pay by card the bond they don’t give it back

They still have to return my bond for the two bikes it’s a shame!! And i did the tour the 16th of February the 10 working days are passed already! I try to contact the operator through email, phone and another email and no one respond! For a company like this is not a good behavior!
In the meantime they are still keeping my bond! Of 50$!!

Over rated

The ferry trip was fine / well organised going out but a bit of a mess quayside coming back. No organisation on return quayside for 4 ferries leaving within 1/2 hour of each other . One big queue of passengers and bikes with little instruction from any staff . A complete free for all . Why not have ropes showing lines for each like airports ? Anyway the weather was great and we cycled to the south for the ‘best’ snorkelling. What a let down , little salmon bay was crowded with school kids shouting and screaming . There was not much to see in the water , grey and silver fish but little of any colour . It was the same at all our stops.
The beaches are good but very crowded.
It was nice to cycle round , a little hilly for some so walking was the solution .
The settlement provides shops and food plus plenty of Quokkas scurrying for food.
It reminded us of a Center Parcs Village with huts around it to stay in ( not as nice though ) and this central area for all your needs.
We were probably expecting too much from the snorkelling experience having been to the Great Barrier Reef, Maldives and Egypt but we enjoyed the day out .

Great Transport, Efficient polite+++. Make the bike snorkel combination better!

This was organised and pleasant regarding transport. Timely friendly no uglys. We overnighted on Rottnest island out and back with a just right fel to the Ferry abd bike service. The gripe we hve is that they combine bikes and snorkelling equipment with a $100 dollar bond. But the bike spring holders drop the good snorkelling gear, leading to distressing back tracks. We tried using our overnight back packs, but they are too small. My daughter and I loved the bike snorkel rest circle on Rottnest. First gear is too high even for fit people, on Rottnest hills. A basket, or fixing the holding springs and a Phone/GPS holder would help, not looking for fallen snorkel gear. This is handyman level stuff. For those overnighting on the island a great place. Wanting to to cycle snorkle resort. Fix up the bikes to hold the snorkelling gear and navigate. Consider bike up grades such as more gears for the fit or e bike for less fit or older. The service is nice effective friendly and timely. Make the bike snorkel combo work.

Beautiful beaches, lots of people!

We rented bicycles from Hilary’s port and the bike I used had faulty gears and seat, making for a less pleasant time. Afterwards they better explained that they could have sent someone to me within minutes to replace the bike. So if this happens, call them! I made the assumption that they couldn’t simply replace the faulty bike given we were on an island!

The best thing to do in Perth!

Don’t miss the island. A wonderful experience. Make sure you pack a picnic for one of the gorgeous beaches! The Quokka don’t disappoint, they are amazingly tame and sweet!

Be prepared Be safe and Enjoy

Had the Most Amazing Day out on Rottnest Island cycling around the island without any issues with the bikes we hired viewing the spectacular beaches and sights finished the day with a Coffee and endless Quokka selfies. But will say this Cycling the whole island isn’t for the faint hearted it’s hilly and a bit mean

Ticket was not clear at all. we were suppose to leave rotto at 8:30 on the ticket however the ferry left at 7:45 there was no message or anything about what time we had to be there we arrived at 8 to get ready to board there was no ferry at all. The ticket was confusing to read. Me and my friends were left stuck at rotto due to this incorrect info.
