Nemea’s roaring Lion

Our tour was amazing and flexible. It was extremely hot so our outdoor activities were kept to a minimum for our safety and comfort. Katerina was our tour guide and was knowledgeable on the history of Nemea. I highly recommend this tour with her. We stopped by a winery Estate Costantin Gofas where the owner showed us his family owned winery and the wine making process. A cheese plate was prepared for us while we enjoyed the wonderful wines for his wine making. The end of tour was blessed with a home cooked meal with Nikos ( indoors) . Nikos makes and sells wines and vinegars. The friendliness was lovely and genuine. This tour was breathtaking and we greatly appreciated the hospitality..

A great way to explore Nemea's history, wine, and food

My wife and I had a wonderful time during the Lion of Nemea tour. We got a nice dose of history, starting at the Temple of Zeus and adjacent museum. The following winery tour, tasting, and lunch were all excellent. The winery we visited—Estate Constantin Gofas—was a relatively small operation which made for a very nice, intimate tour and tasting. They make a couple whites, rosés, an orange, and a few reds with a fun, tasty array of local varietals, which made for a fun way of sampling the local Nemean wine spectrum. Our guide, Katarina, was very passionate and knowledgeable about wine-making, and we learned a lot from her about Nemean wine-making history and traditions. After the Temple of Zeus, the tour took us off the beaten path a bit, and we got to see some beautiful parts of the countryside while enjoying great wine and food.

Schöne Tour, bestens organisiert, jederzeit wieder

Wir haben eine private Tour gebucht für 4 Personen im September 2020. Trotz morgendlichem starkem regen hatten wir eine tolle tour, super ausgewählte Weingüter und Weine und ein sehr leckeren lunch mit lokalen Köstlichkeiten.
