I visited Plaza Premium lounge Muscat Airport.
Have been traveling a lot through this lounge and am sad to see that it has deteriorated a lot since the past.
My today’s experience December 05.2023 @ 5.40 am
1. I came in at the reception and there 2 ladies, one was busy chatting on the phone while the other was involved in the discussion with her colleague.
No welcome or any greetings, took my card and punched in and returned.. without any communication.
My review: The staff should be trained in hospitality.
2. Comment on food in the lounge:
From my initial experience the food has gone substandard… limited choice and food in warm sections also served cold.
Needs a lot of improvement.

The lounge is only for three hours use. For star alliance gold or more it is three hours before flight time. First time I came across a lounge with these limitations! Very inconvenient for travelers as the airport itself has no good dining places. What kind of hospitality is this?

Let me confess first as I have visited 41 international Airport lounges so far and this lounge is the best among all. But surprised why there was no single review so far.
I have visited at Peak hour late night but still I haven't felt crowded since large enough with Privacy seating.
There was good power points by which I charged my gadgets to avoid draining while journey
Food is so yummy & menu consists of more & more items one has to visit but too lengthy if I starts explain.
This is the best lounge fir a cat nap very comfortably.
I bet your delight if you take this lounge visit in to consideration when planning out your next Muscat visit
