Ik wilde ze ooit eens zien, de Komodovaraan en ik heb ze inderdaad gezien en wel 3 vlakbij het beginpunt van de wandelroute en bij het dorp onder de 'keuken'-hut lagen er 3 te wachten op voedsel... ze konden groter worden zei de ranger die met ons op pad was op de langste wandeltocht die we hadden gekozen. die tocht liep helaas ook over wat hellingen/bergjes en we vroegen ons dan ook af of hier wel varanen liepen want daar kwamen we uiteindelijk voor! nee was het antwoord, die zitten allemaal beneden in de bossen... jeetje wat doen we dan hier bovenop die helling een uur ploeterend in die hitte? er is een mooi uitzichtpunt voor foto's bovenop is dan het antwoord... in totaal hebben we dus 6 varanen gezien waaronder 2 kleintjes. bij terugkomst liep er een cruiseschip leeg en werd het eiland overstelpt door zo'n dikke 3000-3500 cruisegasten... weg hier... leuk om gezien te hebben maar veel te commercieel!

First of all, Thank You very Much for your Value time to Review, But Unfortunattly that we dont get your Point of this Review as suggest people not go to komodo island is not a Good advision, because Komodo island is hopping island Tour model and Live on board , with only one type of the Transportation is a fast boat and ship cruise , so you will see many boat or cruise around the ocean as they also would like to see the beauty of komodo island .
about the komodo Dragon , as we advertized that not fully gurantee you meet the komodo dragon, unless you choose long trek more chance to see the dragon .

朝は05:00すぎホテル出発で切り立った島の山を登らされシュノーケルで海に飛び込みコモド島を巡る、かなりハードな半日旅だったが体力を蓄えて行ってみたら楽しかった。

Stay away from this company. They arrived 40 min late and after bringing us to some random place informed us that whether is bad and we can't go to the places in the list, then offered for 50% refund for half day to other destination, we agreed and when we came back the agency and tour provider refused to give us the refund, not enough the agent was cynical and rude answering our messages and told us we can complaint to trip advisor and stopped answering

we are very appreciate For your Value time to review about this Tour
as per notice that Pick up time is estimate as share pick up with other guest (random time ) mostly from 5.10am to 5.50am depend to the hotel stay
.and due your tour Date was Bad weather and Master harbour not allowed to sailing far,so we changed the Route for safety reason. .in the in the beginning before sailing the Ground staff already explain the curent stuation that bad weather and Change destination become Half day and the Boat guide offer Price for half day on the spot Not Offer 50% Refund as you said . and its a choice took Half day schedulle or you cancel whole tour for Full Refund ,but you keep on sailing of half day , its mean we only Refund the different price you paid to our Offer half day day Price on the spot, but you Refuse to take the Refund on the end of sailing and You threatened us to give a bad review on Tripadvisor.
Thank You and sorry for this Inconvenient.

The 1 Day Komodo Island Tour with Tours to Komodo was by far the best experience throughout 2019. With a great crew headed by the fantastic guide Aldi we saw everything plus some extras. The best was when we snorkelled with Manta Rays <3

I would definitely recommend doing this tour. Speedboat means you spend minimal time getting from A to B and more time at each location. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lunch and snacks were simple and good. Make sure you bring shoes for hiking, towel, cash for entrance fees. Snorkelling at Pink Beach were the highlight. It’s a little more expensive than other tours out there.

I booked this tour through Hotels.com which ended up being booked through a travel agency called BeFree. Based off the information here and the info available on Hotels.com, my understanding was that this would be a small group tour. When we arrived at the dock after waiting outside our hotel for 40 min for the pickup shuttle, I assumed that, based on the number of people, we would be divided up into groups. However, we were all boarded onto a very large speedboat, where none but the tallest people could even see out the windows. While the boat was not full to capacity, it still felt very cramped.
The stops on the tour were also made difficult by the size of the group, particularly Komodo Island, as we didn't get to hear anything the guides were saying. Further, it just felt like we spent a lot of time just waiting in line to get on and off the boat.
Also, BeFree (booking agency) did not communicate our needs for a vegetarian lunch, which was very frustrating and while not the fault of the crew, they were pretty unconcerned with what came across as a very common occurrence.
Overall the tour stops were nice places, but some more for photo opportunities than anything else. If snorkeling is your prime objective, I would not book this tour.
Labuan Bajo is full of places you can book boats and tours. I would suggest waiting until you arrive so you can get clear information about the size of the group and the type of boat you will be on.
The stops on the tour were also made difficult by the size of the group, particularly Komodo Island, as we didn't get to hear anything the guides were saying. Further, it just felt like we spent a lot of time just waiting in line to get on and off the boat.

for the Pick up time was stated clearly start from 5.30am to 06.00am depend to the hotel stay, its Random time, sometime a bid late for some reason from the Previous guest
as we have mentioned on the website that this is a group tour ,maximum 35 persons . Not 50 persons,maybe you were wrong count the people. as all passanger already prepared the seat , can not standing.
if more than 36 persons up , we will devide into 2 boat as well.
its so sorry about the vegetarian, but we just refer to your booking data , there was no mention for this special request.For this Kind of special Request, the guest should send us the friendly reminder by email to assure your need is prepared properly.

10 people, snorkelling on coral cays, climbing this hill. Manta ray snorkelling and Komodo dragons. One of my best ever days in travelling. Great people, good lunch (for a coeliac). unlimited drinks and very helpful staff. Boat was newish and safe.

We visit 6 locations in one day, the speedboot was clean and a professional crew (east crew)! Good lunch, enough water en explaination.
Komodo Dragons, snorkling, Manta Ray’s, pink beaches, your instagram picture with a view over the island ;).

we suggest you to book this tour 1 day before departure from labuan bajo.
our tour is end at 4.30pm to 5.30pm,
depend on sea curent weather .
its risk to missing the flight if you take in same day.
