We had a fantastic tour with Danny, who is an amazing guide. He drove us all over Auckland and the surrounding area, and gave us tons of insight, explanation and history of what we visited. It surpassed my expectations and was a highlight of our trip.

Auckland geographically is one of the biggest cities in the world and we see a major part of that on our tour. We took the 8 hour Scenic Tour of Auckland yesterday with Danny. I highly recommended. Not only was he a warm, knowledgeable tour guide, he took us places we did not know existed, or certainly, would not have known about, to visit on our own. I believe we went around the circumference of Auckland. Besides amazing sites, we had a wonderful lunch stop. Danny even took us to Davenport for TipTop ice cream. He is the best. He took wonderful care of all of us. We even knew all our names.

My friends and I only had one full day in Auckland and we wanted to make the most of that day. We debated between the hop on hop off bus and the scenic tour and decided on the latter. It did not disappoint. We were picked up on time by our guide, Mike. There were a total of 11 and it was a great group. Mike showed us many, many sites, had lunch at a lovely restaurant and also attended a wine tasting. Mike took us to various spots for some of the best photos and he was willing to take our photos. He also told several jokes which made for a fun and interesting tour. I will certainly recommend this tour to friends traveling to Auckland. We had a great day! Thanks Mike!

Our tour guide Danny picked us up in a yellow Mercedes sprinter van at the cruise port after we got off our ship (around 8:30a). The 4 of us were able to store all our luggage for the day while we toured around for almost 8 hours which was a huge plus as we had a plane to catch at around 8pm the same day. Danny was very knowledgeable and informative as we toured around Auckland. We saw a lot and learned a bit about history, the area, etc. It was a great day! We stopped at various picturesque lookout points including a decent trek up Mt Eden, a stop at the Winter Garden (beautiful!) , and other places along the way. We also had wine tasting at a winery and a nice lunch (we paid for lunch) at The Riverhead (est in 1857). Coming back into downtown, we went along the harbor and oogled at some very large yachts. At the end of the tour we were dropped off in town and we called an uber to take us to the airport (uber was around $50 US with tip and took about 45 mins).

Yes, we have large luggage holds in our Mercedes Benz transportation, so we were pleased that we could pick you up dockside right beside your cruise ship, store your luggage on our Mercedes and facilitate your transfer to Auckland airport. In the 8-Hours we shared together we were privileged to share all the places/activities that you mentioned and so many more. We has a fantastic tour around Auckland with our tour guide, Mike. We highly recommend this tour! We stopped by Fort Cautley that not only provided history, but also great views of Auckland.

Mike Silva was our tour guide and he was fabulous! He had a wealth of information to share and presented it in a very interesting way. He was very friendly and created an atmosphere that allowed all the guests to feel included. The tour itself provided an extensive view of Auckland and the surrounding area. This tour was a gem!

The 8hr tour of Auckland and surrounds was a wonderful way of experiencing New Zealand's culture, heritage and history, packaged into 1 extremely informative and interesting day. The tour is a full day with a fair amount of travel, but worth it!
Scenery is phenomenal, both Hobbiton and the caves were amazing.
Our tour guide Mike is great - very friendly, knowledgeable, and kept our group on time throughout the tour - the sign of a true professional.
We highly recommend that you make this part of your Auckland experience. Thank-you, Mike!

Love your headline " A great day!." Yes, you can't avoid the travel as we head to Middle Earth as the attractions are 2 hours south of Auckland. We mitigate this by the specially and exclusively designed route that we travel where for 80% of the day, we get right off the motorways and on to the quaint country roads, which gives us the opportunity to showcase the real New Zealand with its stunning and ever changing scenery. We saw so much in this 8 hour tour! It made the most of the short amount of time we had in amazing Auckland. We went to many, many cool places that we would never have gotten to on our own. David and Brenda were great guides and kept things fun and interesting. We were treated like royalty, learned a lot and had a wonderful time! Totally worth it.

Per the tour office, picks up at prince port , 1 hour after docking. Tour returns to port at 4-430 pm. No shuttle to airport. Will store luggage in van. Hope this helps.
