The two women working on the till we're rather unfriendly. One spoke so quietly I could hardly understand her.
She also forgot to turn on the video at the start of the tour, so myself and my husband were stood their for 5 minutes wondering what was happening.
The "museum" was poor. A few interesting bits, but it was like a school project rather than a museum. We were in and out in about 15 minutes.

Loved it, it’s fun and lots in a small space. Great to read all the interesting facts and get hands on with quizzes and sights and smells. Really liked the character interaction, thoroughly enjoyed.

Great place in Chester to take kids they really enjoyed looking around I would of give this 5 stars but the only reason why I didn’t was the young girl on the desk with shoulder length black hair gothic looking, she was very rude and clearly had an attitude with the public, needs a lesson in customer service, apart from that the kids had a great time and we will go again on our next visit to Chester

Well worth a visit for being relatively cheap admission (further NHS discount etc) and all sorts of weird and wonderful artefacts and curios about healthcare (or lack thereof) down the years. Lots of interactive bits though lots of reading points too so can make it as long or as short a trip as you like. Set in a lovely old church (or looks like one anyway) so it’s a very apt environment!

Really enjoyed went with children 13,12 and 9 lots of history which I enjoy and most of it gory which the children enjoy. Very educational on medical history and lots of interactive exhibitions which is great especially for children as that's how they learn. There is plenty to read and learn but it's presented in an interactive way which makes it enjoyable. Highly recommend, well worth the visit

We drove to Chester just to visit ‘Sick to Death’ and we weren’t disappointed. Admission was incredibly well priced and well worth the money. The exhibits themselves in the rooms are well thought-out and there is plenty of gore and information to ensure that you wash your hands regularly!! The hosts were equally as quirky (in a good way) as was the museum; and there was an actress playing an immersive part in the experience which pretty much made us jump every time she made her entrance. Plenty of interaction using all the senses and there was a great smorgasbord of activities to do that which kept you on your toes. Possibly not for younger children as lots of reading was required and maybe a little too gory. We didn’t realise how much time we had spent in the museum as we had such fun. A couple of hours maximum required but well worth the admission price. We loved it!!

This interactive museum is very well thought out and full of serious science and medical history presented in a “Horrible Histories” style which makes it relatively family friendly, although definitely not suitable for younger or more sensitive children.
There were a few parts which weren’t working on my visit, which was a shame.
But I was impressed with it overall, and enjoyed it as a single adult visitor!
