Unable to park. Roads crammed and car parks rammed. Thoroughly unpleasant experience but interestingly the Church car park with 15 empty spaces was closed.

My sisters Kim, Michelle and myself have visited Mousehole many times over the years and we thought we knew a lot about its history. But after a ‘Mousehole Heritage Walk’ with Elaine, how wrong were we!
The walk / talk started on the ‘Parade’ at the Old Coastguard Hotel, and followed a route around the village highlighting many very interesting features, folklore and facts.
Within a short time, it was clear Elaine had carried out meticulous and comprehensive research on Mousehole, very often supporting what she was talking about with photographs.
SPOILER ALERT…. Who would have thought the ‘Blue Elvin’ rock projecting out of the road at the top of ‘Duck Street’, was pivotal in saving lives of Mousehole people in the 19th century. Find out how, why and many other facts about the village, by taking a ‘Mousehole Heritage Walk’ with Elaine. Honestly you will not be disappointed. 😊
Thank you very much Elaine, for a really thoroughly interesting, fascinating, enlightening and eye opening ‘Mousehole Heritage Walk’. When I stroll around the village now, I will really appreciate the history of Mousehole.

Elaine's well loved local knowledge gave a very personal tour of this wonderful fishing community. Her family photos gave a fascinating insight into the history of the village. Be prepared for the hilly walk, but well worth the effort.

Elaine guided us around Mousehole with a wonderful narrative and insight into village life of years gone by and of recent times. Mousehole has a wonderful history and Elaine shared it so well! Mike & Steph.

The tour guide Elaine a local girl from Moushole was very informative really enjoyed the tour. Who would have believed Banannas grow in Mosehole.

Elaine was interesting , engaging and knowledgeable. She was brought up in Mousehole so brings the village heart beat to the forefront of your minds as you wander through the once cobbled streets and pathways.
A must do that can be enjoyed and savoured.

Excellent! Elaine was fantastic and gave a very informative and enjoyable walk around Mousehole showing us places we had never noticed despite visiting for several years. Would definitely recommend
