I never thought in my early 50s that I would stand up on a board and surf but Jack our instructor made that happen! Thanks Jack! Really friendly team, good facilities (especially having lockers so we both could join in) and a great location overlooking the stunning Fistral Beach. The session was not only informational and safe, but also relaxed, well paced and most important FUN across the ages (teen and Mum). We also really appreciated the ability to extend hire of the wetsuits and boards after the lesson ended to create even more happy memories (& practice, fall off lots, and practice some more). A great measure of success...a teen keen to return the next day and do the improver session.
Important lesson learned... wetsuits can chafe so if you have sensitive skin (especially around the neck) take a pot of vaseline with you!

We booked 5 days of surf school with Quiksilver for our son. Each day was a different instructor which was a bonus… as he learnt different tricks from each. All were super helpful and the experience was as very positive.

Brilliant experience. Joe and E had me standing up and working on turns in 2 lessons. Super friendly and made everyone feel very comfortable. Will deffo be going back.

I had a group surf lesson alongside my 11 year old son and then paid to retain surf boards afterwards.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and the actual changing room/toilet and shower area is really handy and the best I’ve had from any surfing lessons before.
The wetsuits are good quality and a good fit. Likewise for the surf boards.
The beach is then a very short walk across the road down some steps. Probably about five minutes to the start of the beach.
The instructor was really knowledgeable, personable and ensured that everyone got some individual tuition throughout the session. We both really enjoyed it and learned a lot!

Highly recommended: We had two family lessons with our sons aged 11 and 9. Both times we had lots of fun with our instructors Jack and Francesco who were very friendly and encouraging. We all managed to surf some waves standing on the boards. Jack‘s safety instructions regarding swimming/surfing and currents are really educating and will be remembered.

Our two teenagers had an hour with Joe and lots of fun. Top experience for both and value for money top! Keep going.

3 amazing days of surf coaching, starting with the fabulous Adam, then the fantastic Joe and finally the stupendous Jack. 2 nervous children who were all able to stand on their boards and a very happy mum who was able to stand and then do some turns. I’m getting a little older now and it was so much fun to regain some of that childish excitement and bravery that I used to have. Will be booking again for next week, I learnt so much and can’t wait to learn more😀🏄

My boys aged 15 and 12 did their mixed lesson. They had a great time, the teacher was really engaging and they both left wanting to do more. We extended our equipment hire afterwards so they could keep practicing. Would definitely recommend
