Fantastic experience

A fantastic experience with Jon & Sally. Our group were all novices to pottery but the relaxed atmosphere and encouraging tuition made us feel so comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend an experience with Eastnor Pottery ❤️

Hello Helen and thank you for reviewing your morning with us. The majority of participants who join us on our Intro classes have little or no experience of working with clay - so you would have indeed been in good company on Saturday. Not that we'd ever blow our own trumpet or anything, but our 90 minute potter's wheel experience is probably the best taster session in the land! Thank you for commenting on our relaxed and encouraging approach. We think our customers learn so much more when they feel comfortable and we go out of our way to make our participants feel at home. Thanks once again for coming and we're made up you felt it was a fantastic experience. We thought you were both fantastic participants. :)

Fun and Educational

Really fun day. With excellent tuition from Sarah and Jon, we were both able to produce results we will be proud to show to our family and friends. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience

So worth it! Me and my friend absolutely loved this class. Jon and Sarah were both so lovely and amazing teachers.
With the guidance and patients from Jon and Sarah we were both able to produce two pots each that we were very proud of!

Thank you and Sarah and myself are thrilled you enjoyed your Introduction to the Potter's Wheel experience. As you may have guessed, we loved working with you both too. It's such a nice activity to do with a friend and you learn bucket loads by watching each other wrestle the clay....and yes, you should be very proud of your pots, they were awesome! Fun day out

Had a great time at the pottery and learned a lot! Jon was a great teacher and was very supportive, fixing my mistakes as I went along. The whole vibe with the other attendees was fun and really enjoyable! Completed a lovely day out with a snack at The Woodshed, and a walk in Eastnor Deer Park

Thanks Alan and it was a pleasure to meet you and your wife. As far as I recall, there was little 'fixing' to be done - you totally bossed it! I think the rest of the participants were as impressed with your pottery prowess as we were. Good to hear you extended your stay with a trip to the Woodshed Cafe and wander around the Deer Park. Eastnor has so much to offer the visitor at all times of the year. It's becoming quite the destination for all seasons. Cant wait to welcome you both back to the Pottery in the new year to build upon your skills. In the meantime, have a great Christmas and see you soon.

Not touched a potter’s wheel for 54 years since I was at school, but what a re-discovery!
Absolute fun and great tuition makes for an excellent experience.

Hear hear!! Glad to see the old magic was still there and the muscle memory well and truly kicked in - just like riding a bike! We assume you've cleared the shed, purchased a wheel and are continuing your pottery journey - even after the lengthy hiatus? Fantastic experience

I had this as a gift experience for my birthday. The potters wheel class was fantastic and was a lot of fun. The teachers were very thorough and very encouraging. I highly recommend this if you're looking for something new to experience.

Hello Alison and thank you for your lovely review. We did enjoy your session - packed full of fun and seriously good pots. We are made up you appreciated our thorough and encouraging approach - we like to properly get in there and analyse each and everyone's technique, making suggestions for improvement and praising achievements... no matter how wobbly they are, there is value in every single, spinning interaction with the clay. Excellent

I was bought this as a birthday present and took my daughter with me.
We had a lovey time and came home with two items that looked like pots.
The instruction was excellent and Sarah and Jon were very attentive.

Hello Lindsay and lovely to meet you and your daughter yesterday. It certainly was a lively and productive morning...and yes., we can confirm, your keepsakes were extremely pot like! Excellent pottery experience

Experience was given as a gift, what a great gift it was! Had a great day learning and having a go at making a variety of pots using the potters wheel. Sarah and Jon were very welcoming and excellent teachers, and had a lovely studio set up. Would highly recommend

Thank you Miriam and so pleased you enjoyed your gift experience. Experiences are such fabulous things and make wonderful birthday and Christmas gifts - whoever gave you the Potter's Wheel Course must really care. Glad you felt welcome and relaxed in our lovely little artists' studio, its such a nice environment to get creative with clay. If we could review our customers, you'd be a five star participant! School visit- made the learning so much fun.

Jon came to our school at Lapworth- absolutely superb. He inspired and engaged the children from the off, the workshop was pitched so well for them (Year 6 in the morning, Year 2 in the afternoon) and we will absolutely welcome him back whenever we can- thank you, Jon!

Thanks Elliot :) I love my visits to Lapworth - always a treat to work with your wonderful children. The YR6 were brilliant and produced some amazing pottery based on Ancient Greece - Medusa and Cerberus, stand out pieces for sure. Loved the way the students wanted to stay in over breaktime to carry on with their clay work!! YR2 elephants were totally charming and lived up to the usual standards of imagination and ingenuity we've all come to expect. The creations are nearly through the kiln so expect a visit from me very soon. Thanks for taking the time to review my school work at Lapworth and I look forward to catching up in the coming weeks.
