This experience is an absolute must. Woody our guide was superb. He made us feel safe at all times, shown us exactly what needed to be done and was super supportive throughout the day. Whilst it was a very exciting day he was very relaxed was just a brilliant instructor/ guide.

What a great time! 2023 is all about fighting my fears! I felt very nervous initially but Woody, our instructor, was great. He put me at ease right away, reassured and encouraged. He was super knowledgable and friendly. The whole process from start to finish was great.
I was worried it would be freezing in winter but I was not cold at all! The thick wetsuit, gloves, socks, jacket and cap kept us at a good temp. Even my partner, who really feels the cold, was absolutely fine.
Stoneycroft gyll was the perfect starter for me.

Superb experience. Exhilarating, exciting - took us all out of our comfort zone but all felt safe enough to do it. Both instructors were reassuring and encouraging. We were all exhausted at the end of it but happy and proud of ourselves!

We had a very good time Ghyll Scrambling with Toby! Our 7 year old absolutely loved it and just the next day asked if we can do it again. All the equipment was provided and we weren’t cold at all ! Will be coming back

Me and 8 friends did the Ghyll Scrambling and everyone agreed it was one of the best experiences yet. We were right at the base of Scafell Pike and the scenery was unreal - perfect setting for the activity. The instructor was great; very friendly and had the answer to whatever we asked about the activity.
Absolutely would recommend this to anyone, but would love to try some of the other activities on offer in the future!

Really good fun couple of hours and well organised. John is an excellent leader who makes the activity fun and keeps everyone smiling and confident. Arrived early and had all the gear ready for us to speed up the admin process which was very quick.
There was only 4 of us in the group, me and a friend joined by a father and teenage daughter. The small group size ensured we weren't waiting anywhere and it all flowed very well and smoothly. The whole thing only took 2 hours. Hats offto the young girl who wasn't phased by anything and did it all without hesitation. We saw other larger groups who took longer to get through it but we didn't need to wait anywhere.
We were apprehensive about the water temp but the wetsuits etc we used were very good and we didn't feel cold at all. The jumps into water are not huge but a couple of them do make you think for a second or two but it's all so much fun and well worth it. A must do activity to spend a couple of hours whilst in the Lakes.

We had a great family day out ghyll scrambling at Stonycroft Ghyll. Easy booking process, good equipmwent and friendly, professional guide. We were pleased we booked an early morning trip when the ghyll was quiet before bigger groups arrived.
All had a lot of fun sliding down the rocks and jumping into pools.
Would definitely book with Mobile Adventures in future - will probably try out the Coniston trip next year

Well organized activity. All equipment provided was an excellent standard. Instructor was very good and helpful. The instructor was there early and this allowed an early start for getting wet suits etc. sized and put on.
Very busy Ghyll with other user also there but the Mobile adventure instructor worked with the others to make sure waiting was kept to a minimum

I don’t know how I come across this activity but I’m glad I did.
Adam and Finn (the dog) were great leaders.
We all had a great time throughly enjoyed the experience. Using muscles we didn’t know we had, we were aching the next day but worth it.

Great fun for my teenage boys. They were enthusing for hours after! Information, communication and kit were spot on and their instructor was super.
