I did this tour with my daughter and three other lovely tourists and had a wonderful experience. Our guide (I am so sorry to have forgotten the name) made it extra special with a wealth of information he shared with us. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories along with spectacular views. I will definitely come back again soon. Will definitely recommend it to friends as well!

We went on Friday 20th October. So sorry I have forgotten the driver’s name but was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and took us on a beautiful tour which wasn’t affected by the weather except having to change course once due to a fallen tree across the road. A few stops for photos and we felt very safe with his knowledge of the area and careful driving. Would certainly recommend this tour.

Steve was a great guide, full of fun facts, took us to stunning locations, that I would never have dared drive to. He was patient with our questions and super friendly. Really recommend

This is an essential tour especially if it’s your first time in the Lakes District. It gave a splendid overview of the area and it was super handy to have a knowledgeable tour guide. Tim masterfully navigated the terrain and told us story after story, from the backstory of each lake to the different types of sheep grazing on the farmlands!
By the end, I felt quite familiar with the top spots in the Lake District and had a list of places I wanted to go back to explore.
Well worth the money, this one.

We only had one day to experience the lake district. We wanted to see Windermere on our own. We thought the 1/2-day afternoon tour would be the most efficient way to see the rest. It was a good choice - the guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting background. We especially enjoyed the stop at the stone circle and the side trip to the viewpoint past the Ashness Bridge. The only downside was the traffic jam into Keswick.

Amazing experience. Our driver, Tim, met us on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole afternoon very enjoyable. We had lots of stops and got some beautiful photos. The trip lasted about four hours in total. The car was very comfortable and had air con which was very welcome as the weather was glorious. His talk on sheep was very interesting

We had a great afternoon yesterday on the 8 Lakes Tour. Along with a friendly bunch, who all were amazed at the wonderful scenery, we were treated to amusing and knowledgeable commentary the whole afternoon. Some superb photo opportunities a chance to buy the legendary Grasmere Gingerbread in Grasmere.
Highly recommend.

The trip around the lakes and surrounding areas really was an education
Tim, the driver gave us a commentary on all the lakes and places we visited and also threw in some amusing anecdotes.
The scenery around the lakes is stunning and the trip took us to some wonderful view points.

Had a wonderful time on the 8 Lakes tour, with Gillian and Sandra as excellent hosts and guides. The tour party was small (8 in total) and we covered a range of really scenic stops including the Castlerigg stone circle, Derwentwater, Ullswater, and many more. Along the way, Sandra navigated the tricky roads expertly and Gillian gave us mini history lessons of the various places we were visiting. Their knowledge comes from a deep affinity with the place and love for the natural environment of the Lake District. We packed in quite a bit in 4 hours and had time for rest breaks and photography. All in all, a really great experience and highly recommended.
