Two tours, both very interesting and informative. Unfortunately it rained quite heavily during both tours so we were downstairs for the city tour. However our guide, a lovely lady possibly called Sarah, but definitely beginning with an S was so good it more than made up for the poor weather.
It was a real treat to be entertained by Tom on The Beatles tour and with a covered top we were able to see a lot more

Did the Beatles tour as part of a birthday weekend trip and loved every second of it! Our tour guide Damien was absolutely phenomenal, funny, engaging and bristling with a wealth of knowledge that even a die-hard Beatles fan had trouble keeping up with.
If you like the Beatles and an hour or two of great entertainment, look no further. I couldn't recommend this tour high enough!

Weather was a bit rainy so hopped on this bus, fantastic tour, lovely live guide Damian & driver Ann. Lot’s interesting facts about Beatles & music along the route, plenty photo opportunities at Penny Lane & Strawberry Fields, we both really enjoyed both the Beatles Tour & the following day did the hop on route, again with another live guide with Ann driving again. This time clear weather so we sat upstairs enjoying the ride & chatty informative guide. Fabulous city, loads to do & people really friendly, 100% recommend

The tour started before even getting on the bus when the tour guide started singing Beatles songs accompanied by his guitar. The tour takes you through Liverpool with the tour guide pointing out points of interest. As you reach the suburbs the tour focuses on the Beatles, where they lived, went to school, caught the bus etc. The guide sings appropriate songs linked to what you’re seeing. The bus stops to allow photos to be taken and you can disembark at Penny Kane and Strawberry Fields where you’ll get your photo taken next to the signs. All in all great fun! Would highly recommend.

Unsure of what to expect, we were thrilled with the level of knowledge provided by our guide. ‘Damian’ was both entertaining & informative, while exuding tons of enthusiasm, on the subject of the Beatles!! Top notch tour guide & fun duo team w/Arthur. Highly recommend.

What a great tour we had all because of the most enthusiastic guide ever…Tommy!! He made it a tour to remember and got the entire bus singing.

Wow wow wow highly recommend this tour it was amazing. Greatly aided by Tommy and excellent driver. Tommy’s knowledge of the history of this wonderful city, the Fab Four, his humour, poetry, music and way of engaging all of us was amazing. The tour was jam packed with relevant very interesting facts and had a real feel good factor. Loved the singing and Tommy is also a brilliant photographer. He caught some great photos of our group. Highly recommend. Thanks Tommy. Great trip loved every minute

We bought a Ticket to Ride and had a fabulous tour of the city.
Damien our guide and Anne our driver were terrific, stopping off at Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields for photos and not requiring any ‘Help’ to navigate the bus down small streets. Damien sang us through the history of the Beatles and Anne slowed the bus down The Long and Winding Road for us to get peeks at special places like John and Paul’s childhood homes. Damien explained where the lyrics to some of the songs came from which clarified years of wondering. We all joined in with Yellow Submarine and Hey Jude and Damien had everyone on the bus rocking and singing. Arguably The best tour we’ve done would thoroughly recommend it. Great value for money.

Is there stops near Beatle's homes in order to do guided home tours through National Trust?

Sadly both Paul's & John's homes are out of bounds in terms of guided tours and, whilst the bus stops right outside of John's (for photos) it isn't allowed to go down the road where Paul lived (footfall is banned too so you can't walk down to it, so you only get to see it from a distance. I'm not aware they are NT properties. Don't let this put you off - it is the best tour you'll ever do, believeme, & the history of Penny Lane is incredible, very interesting & takes you back to their heyday. Don't miss it, do it & enjoy every moment of the 90mins tour.

South entrance to Albert Dock on Gower Street. Near a yellow American bus used as a dinner. There is a wooden hut & a bus shelter at this location. Easy to find as you should see the buses stopping at the bus stop to pick up. Hope this is helpful .. thanks
