The city of Bath is known (on TV) as the third most expensive city in the UK.
Most of the time, it's so overcrowded that you can feel free to walk along heads and shoulders of the day tripping tourists.
Many of the so-called 'historic' buildings are simply crumbling away to a point that they need constant repair, therefore, they aren't really historic anymore!
When scaffolding is finished in one place, it's immediately needed somewhere else.
People actually pay to go into the 'Pump Rooms' and take photos of rusty water!
Those that are stupid enough pay the excessively high prices to drink/eat out in Bath really deserve the hideous bill that they will receive!
Accommodation is also very expensive.
Avoid places like 'Julian House Hostel' (the dungeon beneath the Baptist Church), Manvers Street, BA1 1JW. The staff are weirdly secretive for obvious reasons.
The people that I have spoken to told me that they were glad to have seen the city of Bath, but were glad to get out of there and that they wouldn't bother hurrying back again.
Pollution, dust and noise is constant.
For those who visit, take a mask, earplugs, crash helmet, blind folds & plenty of cash!!!
(You'll need it all.)

If we would have known the tour was going to include so many people (almost 100) and 1 tour guide we would have taken a different tour. The bus was cold and seats not very comfortable for so many hours. Richard was very knowledgeable and professional, but it seemed like he was rushed and not everyone in the group could hear him. There was enough time at Stonehenge but was not enough at Bath. Be sure to bring your own food do you don’t spend precious time waiting in food line. Overall value was ok, but next time would look for a smaller tour to just Bath. Roman baths were the highlight and made the trip worthwhile.

I have already been to Stonehenge but seeing it ageing with a tour guide was incredible! Our tour guide Chris was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. His driver Dawn was also extremely knowledgeable.
Bath was amazing. I would love to do a full day tour of this beautiful city. Thanks Chris and Dawn and EvanEvans Tours.

Fizemos uma excursão para Stonehenge e Bath, incluindo a Casa de Jane Austen. Não ocorreram grandes atrasos na saída, haviam muitos funcionários da empresa para nós dar suporte, a viagem foi tranquila, o guia era excelente, muita informação e preocupado com o grupo. Derick and Omar are great ! Felt extremely safe the entire trip while Omar was driving us around. Derek is so so so SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. He knows soo much and explains everything so clearly. He is a certified guide with the city, I think, and it shows. The trip itself was comfortable and though it was long, it didn’t feel like it, like other tours. We went straight to Stonehenge. The place is beautiful and def a sight to see. We got 1:45 hours there, which is more than enough time. Then we traveled an hour to Baths and got about 3:45 hours there. This trip is worth just because of Bath. That town is so beautiful and so much history. We had a quick lunch (sandwich), which I recommend because the museum is so big. Derek told us it usually takes about 40mins to go through but it took us a lil over two hours to see it all. While taking pictures and seeing and hearing the history. And then we headed home. So even though it is 10 hours, you won’t really feel it because you are not on the bus that much. I don’t see how other tours pack Windsor castle too with this, it would be too much and not enough time in the actually places. Totally recommend this tour !

Frank our guide did a great job and the layout/schedule of the tour was well done. The early admission to Stonehenge with the opportunity to go inside the stone circle was amazing. We really enjoyed Bath and Lacock. Our only complaint was that the bus seat pitch was so tight I could hardly get my knees in to the seat.

Excellent Tour with very knowledgeable tour guide. Zozo made the experience very fun and was clear and precise with his instructions when we were released for free time. He guided this tour well, and it was very evident that he wanted everyone to have a good experience. He demonstrated a wealth of knowledge as he pointed out the numerous points of interest in Stonehenge and Bath.

Really good trip and well organized. The guide was knowledgeable and funny. The whole day ran smoothly, and we were able to enjoy a day at Stonehenge and Bath with plenty of time for lunch and snack
Only negatives was the bus ride back was extremely hot. I think everyone was sweating, so if you can sit up top on the way there and on the bottom on the way back

The trip there was beautiful. Once we arrived it was well organized and we were able to see everything we had hoped to see. It was not overly crowded or rushed. Guide was very good.

Overall very nice. The tour director Eugene was from Bath and gave lots of information along the way. The drive felt very safe and we had some scenic detours due to traffic. Some things that would have made it better - a clearer timeline of arrival and departure times at each place at the beginning of the tour day so we could have planned lunch better. We left Stonehenge at 12:20 but did not eat there because we knew we’d have free time in Bath and we’re told it’d be about an hour drive. What we were not told was that after we arrived around 1:30 Eugene would give a guided tour of about 30 minutes, meaning we weren’t released for free time until 2:05, and then we had to meet back for entrance into the baths at 2:30. We had a 25 minute window to eat something quick or pass out from hunger. Had I known this ahead of time I would have bought a prepackaged sandwich at Stonehenge and ate on the bus. That was the biggest disappointment; the unknown time constraints that I feel could have been avoided if only I’d been told of our entrance time to the baths and the fact that we’d have a guided tour that we couldn’t leave from. Still four stars, but would have been five if not for this.

There are options just to sit down in cafe , but I did walking tour with guide for 1 hour roughly . There were only few of us . Rest were in cafe and shopping

We were able to tour Stonehenge at your own pace. You have about two and a half hours. The tickets are given to you once you arrive and you can tour the museum and actual site. I hope that helps!

I guess you might be able to do it. After the Roman baths, our guide took us to a walking tour of the city. It took maybe 45-60 mins. Maybe you should write the tour company and check out with them if that time frame will be enough for your visit at the Jane Eyre Museum. The city is very walkable and everything seemed close by. Hi, I booked for 2 seats on the Stonehenge/Bath day trip. Before I could copy the reservation number, I lost the link. And I did not get the confirmation email from Trip Advisor I need to have the reservation number. How can I get this back? Hi Sharon, unfortunately I did not book the trip personally, but was booked by a friend. I am sure if you email the company, with date of trip etc, or trip advisor they should be able to follow up and give you an answer. Was your CC charged? Hopefully your problem will get resolved.
