This was our second time doing this tour. A early start 9am. This time as in opposite direction with Blenheim palace being first. We went to the things we had missed last time. We went to the cafe and enjoyed some Victorian Sponge and hot chocolate, delicious. We then went to Bourton on the Water where we grabbed a sausage roll and a pastie and walked while we ate our lunch. There was not enough time to sit down in a cafe. We took lots of photos and explored all the stores. We then returned to the bus and went to Burford where we had a tour of the sites for Downtown Abbey filming.
Back to London after a long but very enjoyable day. The bus trip through the Cotswold countryside was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were able to sit back in the coach and enjoy the scenery. Andy gave a very detailed commentary and his knowledge is extraordinary. Blenheim Palace certainly exceeded our expectations, it was stunning.

It is a very rushed tour of the Cotswolds and the Downton Abbey village. We had two hours at Blenheim Palace, but only enough time to have lunch in the Cotswolds and 40 minutes in the Downton Abbey village. It is a 10 hour day and 7 hours are on the bus. I would suggest tours that focus on two locations so you can enjoy the location.

Seeing that you had a good experience overall is all we could hope. While we do agree that we would like to give more time to our guests at each location, we have strict timings to arrive at each venue otherwise entry would not be permissible. However, we do have other tours that cover only two venues in a day which allow more time to explore, please visit our website for more information.

Wonderful bus trip to the Cotswolds. Blenheim Palace truly is the greatest home in the entire area! Lesley was a marvelous tour guide. She was filled with great information and facts about all that we saw.

DO NOT GO! EVANS TOURS LIE!!!!!!!!!!!! I PAID almost 400.00 for 2 people and our tour guide ANDY decided we were not going to go the only place that had to do with DOWNTON ABBEY. THIS TRIP ABSOLUTELY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!!!!! they did a bait and switch on us. I asked for refund and they are giving me $20.00 REALLY
THEY LIE! don't believe what they say you are actually doing on your tour. HE CHANGED IT and said ," you don't want go there ! there aren't any bathroom"

Loved my day spent with Richard. He was very informative and helpful. The bus was super clean and comfortable. The audio system was very helpful. We covered a lot in one day and the English countryside was beautiful. Would definitely chose this tour again.

I tried to cancel this tour but was not able to contact the third party it was booked through. A very frustrating experience. I thought trio advisor could be trusted but not this time!

This is a great way to spend a day outside of London. Chrissy and Remi were a great team. Chrissy had interesting facts and stories to share on the trip. Blenheim Castle is amazing and we had adequate time to explore. The 2 towns we stopped at in the Cotswolds were delightful.

For the lunch stop at Bampton: was there any place particularly good for lunch?

Our tour stopped for lunch in Bourton on the Water, a very picturesque town. We ate at the Bourton Riverside Cafe, in the upstairs room. Pretty view of the river, nice staff, good food. The Bampton stop was for viewing the location of the town for the show Downton Abbey. I do not remember seeing a restaurant and the stop was not very long.
