Our guide had an intimate knowledge of the Abbey, however he had the personality of Victor Meldew.
Despite booking and paying for the tour we were told that the tour of parliament was NOT included. Others were also disappointed with not being offered the parliament tour.
Why is your entitled as is???

Walks tour of Westminster Abbey and Parliament was a great choice. Alex our Westminster Abbey guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. We loved the background information Alex shared with us.
The Parliament tour contained a lot of extremely detailed information, a lot of walking but I would absolutely take the tour again. Mike an employee of Parliament’s tours was knowledgeable and very entertaining. He kept everyone engaged for over 2 hours.
Definitely sign up for the Westminster Abbey/Parliament tour with Walks.

This was my 2nd trip to London in recent years. I HAD to come back so I could tour Westminster Abbey. It wasn't on the prior tour agenda. I made it #1 priority during this London Trip! I also bought the extra guided tour, "Hidden Highlights" which was close to an hour and a half long, in addition to touring the Abbey. I spent several hours in the Abbey. I self guided for about 1 1/2 hours. IT'S BEAUTIFUL and so rich in history! I also bought, in advance, the guided "Hidden Highlights" which was worth every single penny! WOW, I'm so glad I went on this guided extra tour! It was absolutely a highlight indeed! If you tour the Abbey, leave yourself hours to walk throughtout every nook and cranny - there are a lot of those. I advise you to tour the Houses of Parliment BEFORE touring the Abbey though, maybe even on a different day. After spending hours inside Westminster Abbey, nothing, NOTHING, looks good afterwards, not even Parliment.

Not good. You can do the visit by yourself without paying extra for a guide. We had to use the audioguide anyway for the Parliment and Abbey visit.

Westminster Abbey was spectacular and Richard a excellent guide. We liked his explanations very much which put everything into perspective. Excellent time management to combine both visits. Houses of Parliament was after his personal introduction performed „individually with audio guide“. We liked it as a good mixture between human guide (@Westminster Abbey) and audio guide (@ Houses of Parliament). There are other tour operators offering guided tours as well so it will depend on your personal preference what you prefer.

I have signed up for May 4 for a tour of the Abbey. My confirmation is 1093376502
Today I received an email from Trip Advisor that my tour has been canceled. I replied using the link they sent “”REPLY” but it bounced back to me.
I can not take the tour on May 5, as I am booked all day.

On the audio tour, can you tell me whether the route also includes the Norman Porch, the Queen’s Robing Room, one of the Peers’ voting corridor (Contents and Not Contents) and one of the Commons’ voting corridors (Aye or No)? A quick response letting me know which year and month you experienced the audio tour would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

You could always buy tickets for just The Houses on arrival there. It’s an audio tour and well worth a visit.
Is this tour available in september also? And the inside tour of the Parlament (House of Commons, House of Lords, etc) included? Thanks.

I booked our tour through the Tripadvisor website, we started at Westminster Abbey at 9.15 am and started our House of Commons Tour late morning. However you can purchase tickets just for the Houses of Parliament separately as it’s an audio guided tour (Look on the website) Make sure you book on a day when parliament isn’t sitting, otherwise you won’t get to see it all. Weekends or the long summer recess being the best times.

Yes, with this tour we came in through a side entrance, via the cloisters(?). You stand in a short queue with the other people on your tour , about 12 people in our case, and put wrist bands on after a security check and in you go. We did the tour at 9.15am

I am sure it means that you go into Parliament,it might mean you meet outside the visitior entrance to enter.Best to check with the tour organiser.We certainly had a superb visit .Hope you will
