I do sincerely apologise for the uncomfortable temperatures in the vehicle on the day of your tour, we are indeed having one of the hottest summers that we have had in the last 30 years! Please be assured that all of our vehicles have fully functioning AC, which was in operation on the day of your tour. Some of the group asked the driver to turn the AC down as they felt a little too cold. The driver set the AC at an in between temperature, to try and keep everybody on the bus comfortable. I am glad to read that in spite of the temperature on your travel date, you enjoyed your tour anyway!

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am so disappointed to read that you feel you had a 2* experience with us. We do indeed run the tour in this order on a Sunday, this is due to our allotted entry time at the Studios. I am unsure as to why you think an expert guide was supposed to meet you in Oxford. Each and every one of the guides that International Friends employ are experts. Therefore, we use them to guide the Oxford part of this tour, which is what happened on the day of your tour. J is a fantastic guide and please be assured, he is very knowledgeable about Oxford. If he did not know the place, we would not have asked him to guide the group there. I am sorry you feel that you would have had a much better experience with another guide - poor feedback about our guides is very unusual. I have passed this feedback on to your guide and he is too, very disappointed. The second point you have raised about Christ Church I feel is unfair. Christ Church is NOT included as part of this tour, and as a working academic and religious institution, it is subject to last minute closures. I am sorry you feel that this was poorly planned, but I hope you can see that a long queue at a what is essentially, a tourist attraction is just simply not something that we can control. The day is planned with a 15.00 departure from Oxford, to ensure that we make it to the Studios on time. Many people would feel the same way you do about the Oxford part of the trip, about the visit to the Studios. It is indeed a once in a lifetime, and the highlight of the time in the UK for many. We feel that we are able to offer the best of both places on this trip; you received a guided walking tour in Oxford with an expert, you were able to see Christ Church Oxford among many other sites, and you were able to visit the fantastic Warner Bros Studios, along with round trip executive transfers from London. We would argue that for the cost of this tour, this is more than fair value for money. Kind regards, International Friends
