Our guide, Lucy was very engaging and knowledgeable. She kept the children entertained and managed to guide us through the highlights of the museum. It would have been impossible to get through as much without her. We also learnt a lot. I would recommend Lucy for family tours and also tours with adults.

We booked our private tour knowing that our 6 and 11 year olds would need some direction to really get the most out of the museum. Our tour guide, Denisa, came prepared with a binder of pictures and additional information, and also asked the kids what they wanted to see. She quickly picked up on their fascination with mummies and dead bodies and the time went quickly with not only the "must sees" such as the Rosetta stone, Elgin marbles and Assyrian gates, but also with Egyptian and European mummies "with and without wrapping", sarcophagi, peat bog bodies, skeletons and animal mummies! Highly recommend!

Our guide, Ainura, was fantastic with our sons and with us. She knows a lot about que museum and about many cultures.
We spent 2 lovely hours with her and we learned a lot!
My youngest son said she was the best guide he've already had!
Highly recommended!

I booked a private tour for my 12 year old neice and 70 year old father to visit the British Museum. Daddy has been to the museum several times before where we've had a private tour from cousins who are a docent at the museum. This was my neice's first visit.
Dominic came with a binder of activities that he adapted to my neice's interests, and he communicated well and clearly with my father. Both were delighted with his kindness and knowledge. Middle schoolers are finicky at best, but when we asked my neice was was her favorite thing we saw during our 10 days in Europe, she told us it was the British Museum! Not many 12 year olds would say that, and we credit Dominic. Thank you!

It was great for both us adults and for our kids (5 and 9).
Our tour guide, Denisa, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour entertaining and enjoyable for all of us. The British Museum was fascinating, and we particularly enjoyed the Egyptian section. We were pleasantly surprised to see our children so interested in the exhibits thanks also to Denisa's engaging explanations. She was really good at bringing history to life and as a result the time flew by. It was a fantastic experience, and we recommend this tour to everyone!

Danny, our guide, did a wonderful job of leading us through on a busy day to the highlights of the massive British Museum. During which he adapted his presentation of on information to suit our group from youngest to the oldest.
