The guide made is special

Stonehenge and Bath are well worth the trip from London. What made the English Bus tour excellent was our guide, Tony. He has plenty of knowledge and stories of all the sites that we saw during our drive: at Stonehenge, Bath, the Secret Stop and throughout the country side. He was fun, well spoken and personable. I highly recommend this small group tour over the big bus companies. You receive the personal touch (and treats).

We had a wonderful day with Tony on the Stonehenge, Bath, Cotswold tour. We had spent a week touring the London sights, and it was nice to get out of the city to see a bit of the English countryside. Tony was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing commentary throughout the driving bit of the trip. When we arrived at each location we were able to go at our own pace and pursue our own interests. The van we rode in was comfortable and the group was relatively small - about 15 tourists. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Tony for a memorable day.

Fabulous tour!

I booked this tour as my celebration for running the London Marathon and it was the perfect way to spend the day! I was able to see a few parts of England outside of the city without having to worry about logistics.

The tour guide Tony made for a brilliant day!

I felt that we had an adequate amount of time at each location and highly recommend!

Highly, highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide & bus driver, Tony, was very friendly and knowledgeable! The experience wasn't too "touristy" - ie a group of people following around a guide, instead Tony let us roam on our own at all of our stops but also gave the option of sticking with him in Bath for a quick walking tour. I do wish the stop in the Cotswolds was a bit longer, but I know that would cut into the time of our other stops on an already long day. The bus was very clean and very well kept inside. We'll definitely book a tour again with this company! Thanks Tony for a wonderful day!

A great tour

We went on this tour on the 15th August. Mr Andy Sawyer was our tour guide The best part of the tour was Mr. Sawyer He was knowledgeable , patient with the tourists and had a good sense of humour. He regaled us with stories and historical details about every place he took us. His encyclopaedic knowledge about places, events and the history made the tour memorable. He shepherded us in such a way that we never felt shepherded . He pointed out buildings and places on the way , like the brewery outside London and told us stories about them . We wish him well.

Really informative tour with a dedicated guide!

Johnny (our tour guide) was obviously well informed about the sites and provided interesting bits of trivia on the bus ride. Was also very communicative about expectations and good at keeping time! Overall the tour agency was very professional as well. Would recommend this tour provider as their smaller buses and groups meant that we could travel through small roads easily and questions could be answered in more detail.

Give Johny a Raise!!! Tour of a Lifetime!

Took the English Bus on their day-long tour of Stonehenge, Bath, and Cotswold. WOW we were so blown away by the knowledge, and professionalism shown by our amazing tour guide Johny Davies. He was absolutely incredible. Our family has taken tours all over Europe and we have never had a tour guide who had the trove of knowledge that Johny had in the historic sites we were visiting. Additionally, the bus we took was small and there were only a few other families on our tour which allowed us to ask Johny any questions about the historical sites. It almost felt like the vibe of a private tour. and if that hasn’t sold you on this tour yet, Johny knew the best places to take photos so our Stonehenge memories will be saved forever! Since taking the tour in May 2022, we have recommended the English Bus to our friends and family. We had a blast!

Wonderful excursion to Stonehenge, Bath, Cotswold village
Tony was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide on our trip to Stonehenge, Bath, and the Cotswold village of Castle Combe. He was calm under pressure when we hit an unexpected traffic jam and still managed to get us through the full experience. We enjoyed his walking tour in Bath and he was always ready to answer the random questions we had about the area and London generally.
