I do love personalising a tour and this was special because of the fact that two of Matthew's ancestors had worked in Mayfair in days gone by. A little research found one had worked in Charles Street and the other in Carrington Street, both of which I included in the tour with a bit of the relevant history thrown in! And yes, the boys loved the car showrooms and left planning how to find £250k to buy a Ferrari! Great fun! Do book the St James' tour when you get the chance - if we choose a day when the Changing of the Guard is scheduled, I think the boys will love it.
