Mark was marvelous, his commentary was very interesting and informative. He went out of his way to make sure everyone on the tour had a wonderful time. We missed the steam train (not the fault of the tour) we got a diesel instead, and on our way back Mark stopped at a crossing so we could watch it pass buy. The sheep in the field didn’t like us invading their space and made all sorts of racket. It was a hoot and such fun to engage with them up close. A great day all around. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some of the Yorkshire countryside.

Fabulous day! Mark was a great guide and everything was so easy and relaxed. The weather cooperated and we got to stop at a few extra places including Byland Abbey. This was a great way to see Whitby without the hassle of parking a car.

I was the only guest on this tour on a rainy Saturday in early March. Any other tour company would've cancelled, and I wouldn't have blamed them. Instead, my guide arrived on time, with a great attitude, and showed flexibility. He was informative, genuine and kind, and never made me feel odd for being the only traveler. The itinerary was perfect, I learned so much about the beautiful towns and villages and the moors. 10/10 would go again!

This was a fantastic tour! Mark was amazing! His commentary was very interesting, he gave some recommendations for stops that were all spot on and the entire trip was very entertaining. He even took a little detour through Pickering and told us some history when we mentioned we had great grandparents from there. It was so much fun that I would do the trip again. The tour was well planned out. There were several stops that allowed for time off the bus prior to Whitby which were lovely and a great opportunity to stretch the legs and see the sites. The bus was clean, comfortable and in good condition.

If you're like me and are traveling the UK without a car this tour is worth every penny to see a cute little market town and a BEAUTIFUL seaside town.

We had a great day out with Mark (hope I have remembered that correctly) visiting the North York Moors and Whitby as well as some quaint little market towns in between. Mark had a great knowledge of the areas we visited and his commentary was excellent. There was plenty of time at each of the stops to have a good look around etc.
