App worked fine but information was limited that i excepted. links to youtube videos were a little unhelpful. i paid for two people but could have done with one because the information on each stop is about 3-4 mins max. recording is very dry - sounds like someone reading a history book

Probably my technical ineptitude but voice content kept cutting out after 10 seconds and starting all over again. Guidance and directions poor. Gave up after 30 mins

Oh no, your review has us more tangled than a spaghetti junction! It sounds like our York tour hit a bump, and for that, we're really sorry. Your frustration is completely understandable - nobody likes a conversation that keeps going in circles (especially not from our guides).
If only our 24/7 customer service line could travel back in time, we'd have been there to untangle the technical hiccup. You see, this glitch often plays tricks when the tour is downloaded with a sketchy internet connection - we're campaigning for the glitch to join a magic show instead.
We always advise our adventurers to test-drive the app a day before the tour. To smooth your ride, we'd love to chat, unravel this mystery and find the right way forward.

Application was hard to use. It was bad user experience. Navigate audio and the map was really hard (you need to convert to google maps etc) so I do not recommend this app to anyone.

A traveller in time

Was ok but some segments of audio tour commentary didn’t fully load so just stopped half way through.
Also route between point was not sequenced to walk logically around the city so bit of backtracking occurs.
However tour does take you away from shops and crowds to see things you wouldn’t normally find.

This walking tour was the highlight of our stay in York. I regret we did it on the last day of our stay, so I highly recommend doing it in the beginning. The script of the tour was interesting and well prepared. The stories about Romans and Vikings who have lived in the area were so interesting. Looking forward to my next tour with these guys.
