It was a fabulous experience in a van with a total of 6 persons. Andrew the guide, driver and everything else is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient and kind.

We recently had time in Southampton before getting on a cruise ship. We decided to avail ourselves of a guided tour with our driver Ian Mowbray-Williams of Undiscovered Cotwolds. It was a spectacular day! Ian picked up 3 of us for a fun tour of Stonehenge and Bath. Ian was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, sharing stories about his travels, education and experiences, as well as his in-depth knowledge of the history in both locations. We learned things that we would have never known if we had gone on our own. We stopped for lunch at a local pub in Bath (The Raven) which was one of Ian's favorites. Ian ate with us and recommended the meat pies which did not disappoint! You know it's a good place when all the locals eat there!
I would highly recommend taking advantage of Ian's expertise and his easy-going personality - it was very clear that he loves his job! Our only disappointment was that we didn't have another day there as we would have loved to visit the Cotwolds with Ian!

I’ve been to the Cotswolds a couple of times and I have to say this is the best trip I’ve taken so far. Our tour guide Andrew was excellent giving a background of where we went and interesting stories and a great sense of humor comfortable ride and allowed time for someone who walks with a cane like me I will go again and again I would rate it five out of five stars.

Our tour was originally scheduled for Saturday from Southampton but we were notified on Thursday that the original driver was became unavailable so we were asked if rescheduling for Sunday would be OK. That was a bit disappointing because the weather Saturday was forecast much better than Sunday, but we agreed. Sunday, indeed, was rainy and that was a but disappointing. But enough about the weather. Our driver, Ian, was prompt, safe, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and provided a great tour complete with history, and local stories ranging from English history to Russian spies to Nazi scandals all giving us a connection to this beautiful part of the world. He told us what a "Marmite thing" is and I have discovered that I am pro-Marmite. Due to the rescheduling, the tour company treated us to a great Sunday Dinner at a beautiful Inn. These are all great memories contributing to why we travel.

We had a wonderful tour through the Cotswolds with Andy on my wife's birthday. Andy knows the area intimately and gives great context to the history of the region and specific sites visited. Recommend this tour very much.

My wife and myself recently completed in July the tour of "Undiscovered Cotswolds Private Tour" which comprised of several villages and historic sites.
On completion of the tour in Oxford. We felt it was our duty to inform the tour operator of our disappointment together with some urgent suggestions to enhance their services especially with assisting the nominated driver and in-van commentary.
The Mercedes passenger van that was used on the tour day required was in need urgent service/investigation since there was inherent drumming from the suspension and tyres creating vibration seriously impacting the cabin interior this combined with other road noise drowned out the drivers voice over, making all it extremley unpleasant not only to ourselves but and several other passengers, it was in fact impossible to actually hear the tour commentary without interrupting the driver/guide to raise the vehicle volume whilst she is trying drive and ensure everybody's safety.
All this issues could have be simply be overcome with pre-recorded commentary between scheduled tour stops. We missed so much important detail on the day entire tour.
Therefore given our experience it was a huge disappointment to my wife and myself after planning our visit to the Cotswolds from Australia. the company was informed by email with reply advising us to give them a 5 star rating!! which is clearly not the situation.

Fearless548163 we are very sorry that you had a negative experience when visiting the Cotswolds however we believe this review to be a mistake posted to the wrong tour. Our Undiscovered Cotswolds Private Tour is a private tour and you have mentioned other guests joining you on the tour. Also we have not received any email contact from yourselves with regards to a noise in one of our vehicles. None of our driver guides have mentioned any comments from customers regarding a noise and as your tour was back in July I would have expected to receive other complaints of such a loud noise that it made the experience unbearable.

Jo was an excellent guide for the 7 of us. She was informative, cordial & very accommodating to each of our needs. Highly recommend taking this tour. Also appreciated the small group size.

We had an outstanding experience on our Cotswolds tour with Graham as our driver. From the moment he picked us up in Windsor, everything was seamlessly arranged. Graham's expertise and personable approach made the day exceptional. Our journey began with a visit to the picturesque Castle Combe, followed by the charming village of Bibury. We continued to the delightful Bourton-on-the-Water, the beautiful Slaughters (both Upper and Lower), and drove through the historic Burford. Our tour concluded with a visit to Minster Lovell, showcasing the best of the Cotswolds.
Graham executed our planned itinerary flawlessly, and we appreciated his smooth driving throughout the day. At the end of the tour, he kindly dropped us off at our Heathrow airport hotel as requested. It was a perfect day filled with stunning scenery and enriching experiences—highly recommended!

Amazing trip. Ian picked us up from Southampton port and took us on a wonderful trip to Stonehenge and then to Bath. He was super knowledgeable and was a ton of fun!
He suggested his favorite local lunch place in Bath and we ate our first truly British meal. Needless to say it was delicious!
It was truly a wonderful day!
Would highly recommend Ian for your trip!

We had a wonderful day in the Cotswolds with Jo. Such a pleasure to travel with her through the area and modify our itinerary as the conditions dictated. Jo provided great insight into the villages we visited and made sure we experienced the very best of the region. On our next visit to England we will certainly give some other areas a try with her.

My name is Shannon and is like to book with you. I’m thinking of booking on a Sunday (3/29). Are establishments open on that day or should I pick a day during the week?
We will be coming up from London via a train. We would like to spend the night and next day somewhere in the Cotswolds before leaving back to London in the late afternoon. Can you recommend a town to stay in after we complete our tour with you?
