The tour was amazing! The cold weather worked in my favor and I was the only one on the tour. Nick, the tour guide, was gracious and very knowledgeable. He added colorful details and anecdotes about many of the buildings and indulged my interest in Detectives Morse and Lewis. The time flew by. I learned so much and truly fell in love with Oxford as a city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Nick. It was a very cold day in February and we were pleased that it went ahead in spite of the fact we were the only ones booked on the 12 o'clock tour. We learnt so much about the history of Oxford, the colleges, the famous alumni and the literary connections. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Andrew was a extremely knowledgeable historian, he conducted the tour with the enthusiasm like it was the first time he had done it but obviously has done it many times

We were only in the city for less than 2 days. This was a great way to see the main historical points as well as learn about the history of Oxford. Our guide, Nick, was very knowledgable about all things Oxford. He kept a good pace to keep us on track, however he was always happy to answer as many questions as we had.

Andrew Parker was our guide and took our small group on a wonderful tour of Oxford. He gave us a great insight into the history of the city over the centuries providing wider national historical context also. It was a great tour and the dense fog on the day added to the atmosphere of the location and it’s history. Andrew was a great guide, very knowledgeable and insightful peppered with wry humour. Would highly recommend this tour.

We were all fascinated by the history of Oxford as related to us by our wonderful guide. This walking tour is an easy wander around the city/university and we were excited to be able to enter so many ancient buildings and tour of one of the colleges. There is so much to see and learn about and this tour is a marvelous introduction. Highly recommend.

We had a very small tour group of 7 which was perfect. Our tour guide was terrific and his awe of the history of Oxford was infectious. I would recommend a guided tour to anyone visiting Oxford.
