Jonathan was super friendly and made everyone feel included and at ease, always making sure the whole group were together and stopping to do his talks while pointing out interesting things. I love the way he brings objects along to help explain things.

Our tour guide Jonathan was fabulously insightful. He made the tour a very interesting and an enjoyable experience. I found his enthusiasm infectious and although I’m a proud Brummie, it was great to learn new things about my City. I will be recommending this tour to visitors and locals alike.

Really great afternoon. Really high class information and insights into Birmingham’s past. Jonathon was a really attentive host and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would recommend this to anyone, even those who live in Birmingham!

Lovely well paced tour (at least for me!), giving an interesting insight into Birmingham's history. Despite reservations, I found the headphones very handy. It meant the information could flow without everyone have to precisely assemble and Jonathan could stand elsewhere and point things out. Very happy I went.

Thanks for your directives!, Yes, we have fun on this tour and that is the key thing - to feel uplifted and better about thre city and what a great place Birmingham is.
We have a new book based on our tours in part coming out in November. It is called Birmingham's Public Art and is currently with editors. You can see more on the website of the same name.

I would totally recommend this walking tour, as Jonathan makes it exciting and fun, and is very knowledgeable on the history of the area and conveys the great love of this subject he with excitement he speaks with on it

John was kind, friendly, very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions that were asked. A really informative and interesting tour even for us who are born and bread Birmingham. We will definitely be looking to book another of the tours on offer. He even welcomed our dog on the tour who absolutely loved the walk around the jewellery quarter

Great to have you two along (and the dog!). Yes, it is those interesting questions like; "How much is a one bedroom furnished flat to rent in the Jewellery Quarter" that are so much fun. We do try to inform in a humrous and memorable way on our tours. Do come again - our Saturday morning tour of Digbeth is just winding up to be the most exciting experience - it started on New Year's Even and has already had some rave reviews. I would thoroughly recommend this tour. Jonathan is very entertaining and knowledgeable in his delivery of history facts, he encourages questions and keeps the tour interactive so it does not feel like 2 hours have gone by. There are plenty of stops along for a quick rest.
I have been to Birmingham many times but never done a walking tour before. I learnt so much and really enjoyed it.

Spent here with my children as a last day activity, to know about the places in Birmingham where my son works and absolutely loved it very nice people, and explained everything very clearly
