I went on The Secret Canal /Jewellery Quarter Walking Tour, as part of the Heritage Weekend on Sunday 15th September, eventhough it is a regular walking tour for this company. Johnathan Berg led the tour, and although it rained, his enthusiasm and knowledge for the subject shone through! He was engaging, amusing, and full of anecdotes, and I would highly recommend this 2 hour tour.

Thanks so much. We just wish more local people came on tour with us. We need to be much more proud of our city and understand both it's history and also the Birmingham of today.

My family of four took this tour on 14 September with Jonathan Berg as our Tour Guide.
Rather than just being about Canals and Victorians in covered a whole range of issues which have shaped Birmingham over the last 250 years.
Birmingham is a large city with large areas being redeveloped. As such it is difficult to get to know. Jonathan's humorous, exceptionally knowledgeable talk provided a great introduction to the City. This covered:
- Its history of industrialisation and deindustrailisation.
- The impact of its Canals.
- How the urban problems of the 1800s were solved.
- Many of the most significant buildings and examples of its street art.
The commentary provided through wireless headsets was great at allowing one to hear Jonathan clearly regardless of background noise. Also (a) one could walk some distance from him to get a different view; and, (b) at one point he took us into a University Reading Room where the headsets allowed him to talk to us without disturbing the people in the room.
Overall a great introduction to the City.

Such an interesting and informative tour. Jonathan is an enthusiastic and informative guide, full of fun and able to tell relevant stories to truly bring the history of this fascinating city to life. Lots of jokes and laughs, and a free guidebook at the end. Thoroughly recommended for all ages

We had a fabulous 2-hour walk with my brother and sister-in-law, we were pleasantly surprised to find so many interesting locations close together. Johnathon kept us informed, entertained, and even amused as the trip went on, the audio system worked well. The pace for us (and it seemed others) was perfect. We would highly recommend a walking tour with Positively Birmingham. Keith and Erica

The tour guide Jonathan can talk so enthusiastically about Birmingham. I learned a lot about the city. He knows an awful lot and tells it familiarly. Highly recommended. All tours he does are recommended.

Had a fantastic afternoon out on this walking tour with Jonathan. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of Birmingham life and peppered in lots of fun, interesting tidbits of his own life in there too. We had a great time!

I have reserved a booking for 4 people however I need to cancel it. When I try to click on cancel it does not take me anywhere but a blank page without a booking. Please provide me with contact details so I can get this cancelled before it is too late.
