thoroughly enjoyed the tour--learnt so much about Digbeth--which I have through on the Coventry Road but never really looked.We really found very useful the audio system that Jonathan uses. My husband has a hearing problem but heard every word

Thanks so much for coming along. Yes, usually our audio system works incredibly well - and does mean that those with hearing impairmment get a great tour.

Signed up to this walking tour as part of the Birmingham Heritage week. We had seen some of the art around the Custard Factory before, but this tour was extensive and covered unknown (to us) corners of Digbeth. Jonathan is a very well informed and witty guide and made this two hour trip very worthwhile, and enjoyable.
It was an added bonus to visit the canal where the new 'Peaky Blinders' Stephen Knight studios, and Masterchef studio are situated.
Highly recommended, as is the Birmingham Heritage week.

Yes, let us hope that the funding is put in place to continue the Birmingham Heritage Week in future years. It brings so many local people out to learn more about their amazing city.
The street art of Digbeth is diverse, edgy and well worth exploring. Your guide has written the book: Birmingham's Public Art and so has an in depth knowledge of all things public art in Birmingham. The trick though is in putting this knowledge over in a fun and vibrant way - and from what you have written we ticked that box.

As a Brummie, I learnt a great deal about Digbeth's history that I never knew and discovered artwork and businesses I never knew existed. I'll be heading down to Digbeth with renewed interest. The street art in the area is great and learning a little bit about the artists was interesting.
The guide was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour and a love of Birmingham. I'll be booking a walking tour for friends or family when they visit.

Thanks for your feedback. We love the Digbeth tour - it says so much about Birmingham. We run it some but not all Saturday mornings and also as a private tour.

Jonathan is such an engaging and passionate tour guide. Our group of 20 did the Street Art and Peaky Blinders tour as a morning hen do activity.
Jonathan has been really helpful throughout - everything from answering my many questions beforehand through to recommendations of restaurants, and even walking us to our lunch stop after the tour had finished. On the tour itself we saw lots of interesting and eclectic street art whilst walking around Digbeth and the canals, stopping on route to hear about the history of the area, upcoming changes, the artists and of course Peaky Blinder locations. Jonathan was really great in managing to engage our whole group and even planned in a quiz and prize for the bride to be. We had a fab time and definitely recommend!

Wow! You were a great Hen Party to take on tour. Our Digbeth tour is just right as well ... with the mix of street art, Peaky Blinders relationship and of course the place that Birmingham started as a tiny market hamlet.

Excellent dog friendly tour covering just over 4km in 2 hours. Jonathan’s tours raise money for the Birmingham charity Sifa Fireside, a
charity working on homelessness based in Digbeth. £34,000 has been donated since 2016.
We visited the ancient area where Birmingham began as a market hamlet and discovered where the Peaky Blinders film will be produced by Stephen Knight. Jonathan pointed out public art of all descriptions, as well as canals and modern developments including the HS2 railway line.
Jonathan was an energetic, fun and informative guide. We will definitely book again.

Great to meet both the dog and lovely extended amily that went with it!
We just love the Digbeth walking tour and of course with the Peaky Blinders film soon to be shot on the streets and under the viaducts of this place there is so much to see along the route.

A really eye opening tour of the Digbeth area .
Starting by the bull at the Bull Ring, we were given a fascinating glimpse of the history of Digbeth - finding out part of the area used to be a deer park for instance!
Jonathan showed us the full range of public art, mainly focused on street artists. Their work is exciting, and Jonathan's enthusiasm brought the artists and their work to life.
An outstanding 2 hours. The technology of headphones worked perfectly - we could hear everything Jonathan said.

Thanks - yes the headphones are essential for this tour as we discover the street art of Digbeth, see the Peaky Blinder style of streets and understand how Birmingham started above the banks of the little River Rea.
