Robert was a fabulous tour guide. He explained the history and culture of Cardiff in great detail, met us at the train station as planned, and had excellent suggestions for lunch. Highly recommended!

An absolutely amazing experience and my first time doing something like this. Our local friend Tony was the best guide and certainly catered to our requirements. Something so personalized and tailor made was extremely great! He took extra time and showed us things and places that you would not find on a regular tour. He truly cared for us and gave several useful suggestions on how to spend the remaining days of our UK trip.
I fell in love with the city thanks to this experience!

Tony is an exceptional tour guide! His knowledge was excellent, and he was thoroughly entertaining throughout. My family and I were in great company and thought the tour was well-constructed. We really enjoyed seeing the historic sights across Cardiff.

Tony was very knowledgeable about history, culture, language, and everything related to Wales and Cardiff. Easy to talk to and he was ready with plenty of suggestions for what to do with our time in Cardiff and elsewhere in Wales. Took lots of pictures and was easy to communicate with by text. Darren certainly knew his way around, but for a local, he knew very little about Cardiff's history. He was unable to respond to basic questions about the history of Cardiff and its primary landmarks.
He also basically ignored our three children, ages 12, 10, and 5. We specifically requested a family-friendly experience, but I felt like he was paying attention mostly to me.
We feel like we need to return to Cardiff just to get another chance to get to know the city. We fell in love with this city, no thanks to this tour.

My guide Tony Lloyd was very knowledgeable and well-versed in the history and lore of Wales and Cardiff. Tony is very well-traveled and is something of a local celebrity himself. I had only two hours in the late afternoon, so not the ideal time for a tour. But Tony did the nest he could, taking us through the city centre and main sights while sharing his insights into Welsh language and history. I would highly recommend Tony (who has his own website called Difflomats) to anybody who wants to get an in-depth feel of Cardiff and the surroundings.

My husband and I will be visiting Cardiff for one day. We will be arriving at Cardiff Central station from London at appox. 11:45am, march 15,2019. Back to London at 17:26. We need to have someone meet us at the train station to start a possible tour of Cardiff and to visit the Castle. We are on vacation from California,USA. We both would like to learn about the history of Cardiff. What can you suggest something for mobile senior citizens?
