If you’re looking for a smaller one on one tour experience, this is the tour for you. Gareth was an amazing tour guide. Kind, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Responds to messages very quickly too. Plenty of time at each stop to explore and take in the sites. He runs two different tours across Wales and we’d like to return one day to experience the other tour he offers.

We really enjoyed our trip to visit an abbey and several castles. Gareth was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. He was very accommodating and we had plenty time at each stop to wonder around on our own and get a drink and something to eat if we wanted to. He also picked us up and dropped us off close to our accommodation. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see some of the incredible castles in the area.

Gareth was full of historical facts, shared tons of information about what we would see, and gave a smattering of Welsh words to learn as we rode. Plenty of pit stops in areas to browse and get something to eat or drink. I would definitely take his tours again!

Gareth was wonderfully helpful in rearranging things when we had misunderstood the listing on Viator and signed up for the Swansea Bay tour when we really wanted the Valley tour. In the end we not only got to visit the valley sites, including Tintern Abbey and the Chepstow and Caerfilly Castles, but he even accommodated my request to make a small detour to Monmouth, which had some personal significance for me. He also volunteered to pick us up right outside our hotel, which allowed us to enjoy our breakfast a bit longer. Once on the road he shared his knowledge and enthusiasm for the history, culture, and language of the country in a very enjoyable manner.

Valleys tour - Amazing tour of the beautiful southern Wales. Gareth was awesome, answering any and all questions, and filling us in on the cultural and historic significance of each location. The abbey and the castles were stunning, and the drive itself was beautiful. Gareth has this tour timed perfectly. I never felt rushed, there was plenty of time for each stop. The cab was very comfortable and there were plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks etc. I particularly enjoyed the option to take the short walk down to the abbey - which, if you have the choice, I would recommend. The scenery is breathtaking. A wonderful day!

We had a delightful trip to Tintern Abbey, and 3 castles. Gareth is very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge with us. We were given time to investigate on our own, which was important in that my mobility is limited and I was able to explore at a comfortable pace. Nice stop for lunch. The other explorers on the trip were interesting and very nice. Altogether well worth the time and expense. We would gladly recommend going on one of Gareth's tours.

The tour guide was extremely well versed in Welsh culture & history, as well as being very friendly.
The places we were taken to were a great taste of Southern Welsh culture & history and I’d highly recommend this tour to other visiting Cardiff & Wales.

Had a great day today visiting Tintern abbey, a couple of town museums (Chepstow and Caerleon - others viewed the Roman amphitheatre in Caerleon), and three castles - Caerphilly, Chepstow, and Coch - all very different (don't believe those who say if you've seen one castle you've seen them all, far from true). Our tour guide Gareth was informative, attentive, and adaptive. When a major thoroughfare was closed and traffic was banked, Gareth kept calm and adjusted accordingly. Throughout the day Gareth demonstrated a wealth of knowledge, providing a detailed account of Welsh history and anecdotes that were both educational and entertaining, as well as handy tips on purchasing tickets and sourcing refreshments/lunch. Whilst the day's program was structured, I liked that ample time was given for sight seeing and that I had free reign to see what I wanted at a pace that suited me.

it is an extremely well coordinated tour. Gareth is interested in meeting our needs and his great suggestions. He is patient and fills us with loads of details, including much information about how to speak the native tongue. We cannot recommend him highly enough. This is our fourth tour with him each time someplace different, each time a great experience. We highly recommend.

Does the valley adventure also include hotel pickup - I am staying at the Cardiff Marriott on mill lane - looking to see what the closest pick up point is and which one you would recommend

Just acquired new facilities at the Eco Park in Cefn Fforest. The only Voluntary run Community Green Flag status Park in Wales. A 19 acre regenerated woodlands and Park suitable for walking, leisure and peace. We would like to advertise your attraction. Do you have brochures we could display please? contact chris Edwards

How much walking is required on the tour? My husband is not in a wheelchair, but he does have limited balance. Level paths are fine, but he can't do lots of stairs or hiking.
