This is a fantastic way to discover things to do in and around Belfast, get an idea of the geography and decide which of the many attractions to visit.
We were lucky enough to get a fantastic driver, Eamon, who was so friendly and welcoming and expertly dealt with tricky traffic conditions on the smaller, busy streets. Our guide, Ann, was amazing! She knew so much about the history of the city and every building worthy of note along the route, and had so many anecdotes to share about life in the city-ancient and modern-that we were informed, entertained and amused throughout our trip. Thank you both-you made our day!

Overall, the tour was very informative and the commentary was engaging. I particularly liked the music and fun little facts about Belfast.
Factors that marked it down for me were the initial engagement with the tour company. I was approached by one of the staff after just walking next to the city hall. I didn't want to go on the tour at that point and was told I could receive a leaflet but was felt pressured to buy tickets there and then and get on that bus.
The other big thing that let it down was how cold it was on the bus! I totally understand it is an open air bus but decided to sit downstairs in the hope that we could get some warmth. The heaters really need to be turned on, especially on a cold winters day because sitting on a bus for over an hour chilled us to the bone.

On a recent trip to Belfast I joined the tour with some colleagues. It was unlucky that we managed to go at a time when it was raining at the start of the tour, then started snowing, which completely blocked our front view out the window. However, the tour was still so informative about Belfast's rich history. There were so many funny moments in the commentary. You could feel the pride of the tour guide and hearing personal stories from childhood just added so much emotion to the tour. It has made a lasting impression on me and I am currently making plans to return and experience the tour again, hopefully with a little more visibility next time. Genuinely one of the absolute best tours I've ever been on, even though I was hardly able to see anything 🤣. I was told the tour guide's and driver names, but ufortunately I have such a bad memory and can't remember. I wish I had written down their names. I think one of them was Sam. But it was a tour on 22/11 at around 13.30.

I thought the general information was ok. I do think we should move on from stereotypical view on Irish people, I wonder if it would be acceptable if it was in Wales or Scotland??

My friend and I visited Belfast on a whirlwind day trip from Dundee, Scotland.
As we were only there for the day we planned our itinerary beforehand and the open top bus was the first port of call.
Our driver and guide Don suggested we complete the tour in its entirety to get an idea of the city and then take matters from there. Our initial plan was to hop off and on as the tour progressed but after Don's suggestion we did as he suggested and boy we were so glad we did.
Not only was Don friendly and informative he also brought humour into the tour.
One million percent recommend this tour and if you are lucky to get Don as your driver and guide this will further enhance your experience. That said I have know out the other drivers and guides will make you tour an experience to remember.
Planning another trip and the open top bus will be included in our plan.

So glad we booked this tour. We got to see the city of Belfast in just over an hour and had a very pleasant journey. Our driver was Noel and tour guide Emma - both were friendly, knowledgeable and added a sense of humour to the tour which made the experience enjoyable and engaging.
Would definitely recommend. We had a great time.

Enjoyable trip around the City. Guide (a former Teacher) and driver (Tony) kept us informed and managed our voyage across the stops.
The Bridge closure increased the standing time and need for a diversion, so the trip took longer than anticipated. It may in the circumstances be worth factoring known roadworks into the schedule in particular at peak times.
Enjoyable and informative trip nonetheless.
Sometimes difficult to hear the guide especially if other passengers (children and adults) are not engaged.
Are headphones offered to other language guests to support their understanding?

My boyfriend and I went on the excursion from Belfast, covering the Antrim coast and The Giant's Causeway with Game of Thrones locations along the way. Our guide Lisa and our driver Jim were fantastic. Lisa was a fountain of knowledge and we learned so much from the tour about the locations we visited as well as the country's history. Jim also got us there and back safely and made our journey very relaxed despite some difficult roads to navigate! It was an ideal daytrip to get a taste of Northern Ireland with lots of variety. Our highlights were the Dark Hedges and The Giant's Causeway but we enjoyed every stop, seeing some historic castles and villages along the way plus a visit to Bushmills! Drinks and cold food were allowed on the coach and there was a stop for a hot lunch which was a hot buffet if you wanted to plus 10% off. This was a fair price. The stops allowed ample time, I would have liked a little more time at the Dark Hedges as this was a little further to walk from the hotel where we parked as well as this being the lunch stop. There were plenty of toilet stops as the coach had no toilet facilities. I think this trip was great value for money and my boyfriend and I agree this was a memorable day during our stay in Belfast. Thank you!

The closest hop on stop would probably be city hall, it might be a five minute walk to the buses to Dublin. Very easy walkable city.

I had a booking for sight seeing tour bus in Belfast for Wednesday 17th August and I cancelled this on the 08th of August and was charged the full amount and have yet to receive my refund, can you advise why this happened when the booking had the option of free cancellation

Hi. The bus doesn't make a specific stop near or at the cruise terminal. The bus passes the Titanic exhibition, carries on a further 300m then turns around and comes back. That is the nearest the hop on hop off bus gets to the cruise terminal. Perhaps walking or getting a taxi to the Titanic exhibition and picking up the hop on hop off bus there may be an option. The circuit takes about one hour and 10 minutes if you don't get off. For what it's worth the Titanic exhibition is very well done. The Titanic Hotel just opposite is lovely for a drink or food. The building doesn't look that great on the outside but it's lovely inside.
