We have just come back from the tour with Hugh and I am still going through the fascinating stories High shared with us. Some better-known and some personal. It was a very engaging and knowledgeable tour that will stay with me for a long time. Thank you for sharing your city with us.

What a great afternoon. Knowledgable, easy to listen to, good conversation. Really dives into the history and also the current situation. Seeing the walls and the murals was a very special part of our holiday. Highly recommend.

Hugh was brilliant with all his knowledge and stories of the troubles. Well worth booking Hugh’s trip in the iconic black cabs of Belfast. Thank you Hugh, we just didn’t realise every thing that people from Northern Ireland have had to go through, the news doesn’t tell you everything or what to believe. Would highly recommend your trip.

Hugh is fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, clear with his descriptions and he shares some great insight into the realities of Northern Ireland, past present and future. He started as our tour guide, ended as our friend. Couldn’t recommend Hugh enough, great guy.

Brilliant tour full of information on the history of the troubles in Northern Ireland, tour guide gave personal input in his experiences from his younger years. So interesting and gave us more insight on the history, thank you very much! Well worth the money.

First time in Belfast and the tour was the highlight of our stay. Hugh was at the pick up point well in advance of the tour time, explained the format of the tour etc.
He was extremely informative, took time to answer our questions and didn't rush us at any of the stops when we wanted to take photos etc.
It is such a sensitive topic but the tour was done with the utmost professionalism. Many thanks Hugh

Seeing these sites close up, in the context of everyday life, is an incredible experience. Each mural may be moving, scary, inspiring, ludicrous, beautiful, chilling or some combination of the above, but they are all living history. The long shadow of the Troubles is still seen in the tall wall and the gate that locks every evening. Even after a long day traveling, I was envigorated and completely fascinated, and could easily have listened to more and more stories.
I especially appreciated this driver. He was waiting early at the meeting spot. He was courteous, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable.
While I'm sure drivers need to keep to a tight timeline, I never felt like he was just going through the motions at all, or rushing from place to place to tick items off a list. On the contrary, Hugh seemed to enjoy engaging in philosophical discussion, so the tour was not just interactive, but very personal, tailored to my interests and level of knowledge. I would have been annoyed and bored at an intro-level tour, but a PhD-level lecture would have been over my head. Hugh's presentation style could easily adapt to a novice or an expert.
I'll never forget being there and seeing the murals and other sites for the first time after reading and hearing about them over so many years. Those memories will be all the more meaningful and resonant thanks to the insightful, humane, and thought-provoking conversation with Hugh Jordan. I'm very grateful to Hugh for an excellent tour.
