We had an amazing tour with Chris. He was very knowledgeable, organized a fantastic itinerary, and was great company. All the logistics were very simple, and Chris was very flexible as the plan evolved throughout the day. He made sure that the day was great for adults and kids alike and even took an extra detour to find some highland cattle at the end of the day. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a wonderful time with Chris, he made our holiday, Chris is so full of knowledge, would definitely recommend him and we will be booking again for this year.

Chris was upbeat and informative, and kept us interested with fascinating stories and the rich history of Scotland. He was extremely friendly and knew a fun fact about every nook and cranny that we passed by. We would absolutely take his tour again. If you want to see the sights, learn about the history of the place, and have an all around great time, take this tour.

We had a FANTASTIC experience with Monarch tours. Chris was fabulous from our first interaction, responding to my email inquiry very quickly and providing a very friendly and helpful response. I wanted to book a private tour for my dad and I, but had very little knowledge of what to do and where to go. I gave Chris a bit of guidance of what we’d like to see and he came back with a ton of excellent suggestions, and said he could tailor our day however we’d like. He was also very flexible in terms of the timing we needed for pick up and drop off.
Chris has an obvious passion for his business and his history - we were incredibly impressed with the amount of knowledge he had to share with us, and he was able to switch gears at the drop of a hat every time we had a new question (which was pretty frequently!). I learned SO much throughout the day!
Finally, the tour he put together for us was absolutely perfect. We wanted to see some of the smaller, old towns outside of the city as well as get a feel for the Highlands, and he delivered! We ended up at some fabulous spots, and Chris made a very conscious effort to avoid any major tourist areas so that we really felt like the only ones experiencing every single place.
Booking with Chris for your next trip is a MUST!

We can only recommend Chris! Not only did we feel very comfortable, but we were also able to completely customize the trip. We enjoyed every minute of it. Chris shared lots of fascinating Scottish history, anecdotes, answered any questions we had and was generally very interesting to talk to.
We had an amazing day and would recommend this tour to anyone!

Hello looking we are 4 people looking for a private tour that will go to Sterling and visit Sterling Castle and Dunes Castle and drive by some famous bridges like Forth Row bridge and Falkirk area and We will visit Saint Andrews old town and Cathedral. Also maybe we will need to pre buy the tickets because we don't want to waste time waiting in line for these castles unless u have a pass that can take us to the front of the line. This is a day trip from Edinburgh thank you
