Ben was punctual, personable and made a special request happen. We asked to see a scottish highland cow. Ben found two different places for us to view the cows. The first place was a touristy road side place that also had carrots to feed the cows. We introduced Ben to a past travel memory of ours and taught him an interesting feeding technique. Ben also found a farm field later in the day that gave us another close up viewing of these hairy cows.
We even heard from Ben a few weeks later, sending us a picture of him sharing the cow feeding technique with clients. That was really nice of him to reach out to us and remind us of what a fun day we had with him.
Ben's recomendation for lunch was great ( Delicous food and great atmosphere).
We totally recommend Experienced Tours and Ben as your guide.
We even heard from Ben a few weeks later, sending us a picture of him sharing the cow feeding technique with clients. That was really nice of him to reach out to us and remind us of what a fun day we had with him.

Fantastic day with Michael! Great views of Loch Lamond. A nice hike and lunch there as well. Michael was really informative about Sterling Castle and all of Glasgow. I would highly recommend this tour and Michael.

Last night as we (myself, husband, and 14 year old daughter) were discussing the highlights of our 7-day vacation in London and Edinburgh, our tour with Hazel rose to the top as our favorite day (even with the blustery weather). Firstly, she was a pleasure to spend the day with and her love for Scotland is contagious. Secondly, the tour itself was a great way to see Sterling Castle and a wee bit of the Highlands in a day. Lunch was great and my husband tried haggis! Our stop at the Kelpies (with a mini-whiskey tasting) was a welcome addition. Thank you, Hazel!

Terrific tour. We did this as an excursion while on a cruise (although it could have easily been done if touring on land), and we appreciated that Michael was waiting for us at the appointed time right at the port terminal, and brought us back with time to spare on the return. Communication before the tour via email was flawless. Michael was a wealth of information with regards to the history of Scotland and the characters involved. It really brought what we were seeing to life. No regrets taking this tour.

Andy was a fantastic guide, driver, and companion for the day! He was knowledgeable and engaging, and the day flew by. Our kids, ages 11 and 14, enjoyed the outing as much as we did. They especially loved meeting the Highland “coos”! The day was well organized and smooth, and we would highly recommend the experience as a day trip from Edinburgh.

We had a wonderful tour with our tour guide, Andy. From start to finish, Experienced Tours was wonderful to work with, including great communication and easily accommodating our request for an extra stop at a whisky distillery. Andy was so professional, easy going, and worked with both my husband and I and my parents to make a great experience. He was very knowledgeable and was able to navigate the different needs and personalities of our group members. Thank you to everyone at Experienced Tours for this great experience.

This tour was the best part of our week in Scotland. Sandy picked us up at the airport early and thought to stop for coffee/pastries on the way to Stirling. He provided more or less detail on the history of the area, depending on our group's interest at that point. The weather and our jet lag inspired him to offer an alternative to part of the tour, and we ended up in Culross, which was gorgeous. Sandy was really great with our teens (having some of his own) and interacted naturally with the whole group. We left feeling like we had spent the day with a friend, not a hired tour guide.
The van is excellent and the water, snacks, and chat were lovely. We would not hesitate to spend another day with Sandy. He is funny, smart, and very kind to everyone he meets (something we noticed all day). Thank you!

After a few years of Covid delays we finally made our long planned trip to Scotland. Alexander had been wonderful about staying in touch and allowing us to defer more than once when our plans were interrupted by Covid restrictions. We were excited to finally visit and spend a day touring with him. During planning Alexander did a great job of trying to accommodate all the requests to visit various sights. During our tour he was personable, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Everyone agreed this was our favorite day in Scotland. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or book again on a future visit.

We hired 'Experienced Tours' for days in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
They were a pleasure to work with. My wife and I are both in the US travel industry and we can not say enough positives about our time with Experienced.
Informative, adaptable and quick to respond to emails.
In Glasgow our day with Michael was fantastic. Van was immaculate, roomy (4a 1 teen). Alexander was so flexible and added little extras here and there that made it a fantastic day while taking in the full breadth of the Sterling Castle area and its long history without EVER feeling rushed, all while managing to give us time to ourselves to explore locations as a family too.
No rush/panic to find a place to eat. Reservations pre-booked at a nice convenient restaurant that coincided with our lengthy time at the Loch.
Top to bottom ... no regrets, no issues. Fantastic day.
Do NOT hesitate to book them.
We will be recommending Experienced Tours to all our industry peers and family
