Carlotte is the best guide you can get! Taking all the time, telling good and interesting stories about Edinburgh. Had such a wonderful time! When we come back to Edinburgh, we would love to go on tour with Carlotte again!

We had a very interesting tour of old Edinburgh with Charlotte, who not only revealed numerous interesting stories of the lives of some more famous residents, but also explained what life was like for the poor as well. Charlotte also enlightened us with a timeline of the Kings and Queens of the U.K. and how they changed Scotland across the centuries. All in all, I’d highly recommend Charlotte’s tour, and her authentic costume really added something to the whole experience!

Charlotte was fantastic. I was alone on the tour. She extended it by half an hour to fit in as much as possible at no extra cost.. She was very knowledgeable and personable and told some great stories. So much better than the crowded and impersonal free tours. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful tour of the city guided by Charlotte. It was really nice to learn about the historical context in the center of this beautiful city. Charlotte is a passionate storyteller and we have enjoyed listening to all the Scottish stories 🤗

Charlotte was an amazingly knowledgeable guide and she packed so much into our fabulous tour. We visited all the major Old Town sites and Charlotte had an entertaining story to share about each and every stop. This tour was excellent value for money and we highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic walking tour of the Edinburgh Old Town with our excellent guide, Charlotte, who was warm, accommodating, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. The guided tour went on longer than scheduled but we didn't mind at all, as it was so interesting, well-paced, and not too strenuous. We were fortunate to have good weather, and being in a small group made the whole experience feel very personalised and easygoing. Edinburgh is a beautiful city with centuries of amazing history, and we were grateful to have a guide who knew and explained it all so well. Highly recommended!

Very nice tour. The guide Charlotte was very enthousiastic and knowledgeable and gave us a small lesson in the history of kings and queens of Scotland and England. The tour was booked for one hour, after 1,5 hours we had to break it off, because we had to catch the ferry, Charlotte was not watching the clock. We enjoyed it very much, learned a lot and highly recommend this tour!

Interesting historical tour of the old town, with tales of old traditions and customs. Our guide was clothed in beautiful period outfit that she fashioned herself! Wonderful!
