I can't recommend this enough, choose this tour. I'm actually Scottish and this made me see my country in a whole other light.
I was initially worried this tour wouldn't be good value but by the end of day one I realised how wrong I was!
I had the most fantastic 3 days, our guide Helen was just magnificent, she was so funny and informative and insightful the whole way through, such a smashing job and a bus of very happy people. Taking this road without any need to concentrate on the driving and just ogle the incredible scenery has got to be the best, not to mention the most sustainable way of doing the NC500.
It felt like every corner we went round my mouth was wide open in awe - Helen counterpointed these incredible vistas with informative chat and stories and legends, excellent music and amazing food recommendations along the way. Having been on other tour companies where all the food stops were pretty much tourist traps, this was so different and so appreciated, lovely local joints that our guide was sure of recommending, including gourmet cheese toasties and lobster brioche! Plenty of opportunities to get off the bus and explore, there was never a feeling if being scheduled or shivvied, just pure pleasure.
I can't recommend this tour enough and haven't stopped gushing about it since I got back. Incredible trip. Can't wait and have already planned my next trip!

We are super happy with our choice to join the North Coast 500 Tour from 29.06 - 01.07.2023 from Inverness. Our guide and driver Willie J. was fantastic. He had a lot of knowledge about Scotland's history, nature and culture to share as we were asking a lot of questions. Willie was always looking out for animals and scenery so we were able to catch a glimpse of several animals (Hairy Cows, Sheeps, Deers, Seals etc.) and beautiful landscapes. We also did a few extra stops like for example to the Mermaid of the North when we were ahead of the schedule which was awesome. The bus was very proper as Willie cleaned it every day. We felt secure while driving, the music was great and he had a funny humour. We definitely recommend this tour.

When you put your trust in others reviews and it turns out perfectly! Never visited the Highlands before and we’re so glad we chose Rabbie’s to do it with. Our guide James was brilliant he was extremely knowledgeable a brilliant driver, caring and considerate of of all our needs. He took us some places we would never have found on our own. The hotels that Rabbles booked for us we clean and comfortable and a reasonable price

You cannot go wrong with a Rabbies Tour- we did the 3 day NC 500 out of Inverness with James as our guide and he was amazing. He did a terrific job when challenges arose, he accommodated people’s wishes for the trip & he did an amazing job navigating the tricky single track roads. The scenery is stunning and it was truly the trip of a lifetime!

We had the most wonderful 3 day tour of the NC500 coast. The scenery was out of this world, the stop offs beautiful, the history thought provoking and rich, the storytelling sublime and our driver extraordinaire was Kev. Kev must be one of the most generous, enthusiastic and fun tour guides in Scotland. This is the first tour that we have done in Scotland and we were blown away by the service of Rabbies Tours. We were fortunate to have lovely weather so the visibility was delightful. I cannot recommend Kev and Rabbies Tours highly enough.

We took the tour with Emily and it was amazing! I could talk at length about all the things she did right (apart from being hugely knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining), but suffice it to say that even my usually critical German mind could not think of a thing to improve! Full marks. I'll be checking for a Rabbie's option from now on before looking at any other tour operators.

La ruta histórica por la North Coast 500 es muy recomendable. Nuestro guía, James, fue un gran leader de grupo proponiendo diferentes posibilidades en todo momento. El recorrido por castillos,playas ,acantilados y pueblecitos costeros es una maravilla para los sentidos.

The natural beauty revealed to us on the NC500 tour was unsurpassed by all previous travels made by this octogenarian and septuagenarian wife. Care and consideration displayed by Helen Sim, our tour guide, was faultless. Her encyclopedic knowledge of Scottish history and culture added so much value to this experience. Her humorous anecdotes entertained our group. The unanimous applause given at end of tour reflected the appreciation of each participant. Well done Helen and thank you again.

The tour was exactly as I had hoped. Our guide Kev was welcoming, kind, knowledgeable and really funny. The weather was really Scottish, but he anticipated really well.
The landscape and view was amazing!!!!! And I enjoyed all the background information.
I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

This was a brilliant tour of the NC500. Weather was varied, but we made the most of it. Our guide and driver Willie was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Willie made sure we were able to take advantage of any great photo opportunities, which there were several. We saw so much in such a short time. Rabbie’s booked the accommodation in advance, which I was happy with. I’d definitely recommend this tour with Rabbie’s.

I would love to take this trip either solo or with my 5 year old boy who atm only looks at his games in house and takes meltdowns on the thought of going outside! I cannot believe these kids 😭😩
This would be the perfect opportunity to get him out and see the scenes and wildlife out there...we have a beautiful county and I cannot wait to join on a tour.
Can I ask what beaches we will be stopping off at? Also is accommodation included for solo travel if I decide
My boy might get bored if he is the only child on the trip at that time.

I'm unclearas to the final day's dropoff point in case I wish to stay longer. It does not appear to be back in Inverness - am I right to think this?
If the party is so large do you plan to use one large bus or use several small vans? thanks.

The drop off point is the bus station in Inverness which is the same as the meeting point for the tour. You will be given the address of the bus station, it is in the centre of town, not far from the railway station.
Group sizes are usually 16. Speak to the tour company if your group is bigger than this.
