It was an amazing experience, the best day I had at the highlands. The driver was very, very, very nice, he gives you alternatives to make and is the best option, you will not regret it. We were 4 friends who came all the way over from colombia and he was very willing to help us all the way.

Our adventure in Inverness, Scotland, led by our amazing guide Jamie, was truly unforgettable! Jamie's spontaneity made the journey extra special with delightful diversions, including a visit to our ancestor’s castle, an up-close encounter with charming highland cattle, a unique one-hole round of golf experience, and even a refreshing swim in the legendary Loch Ness. Jamie's thoughtfulness shone through as he kindly purchased fresh berries for us to taste. Thank you Jamie for so passionately sharing your beautiful country with us. Until we meet again!

This was a wonderful experience! We had a special request to visit Tomich and the Guisachan estate. Jamie is very knowledgeable about the area and provided us with a truly extraordinary experience. His passion for the area, preservation of natural resources, and respect for the locals are evident in all his interactions. I highly recommend booking with Jamie and will do so again if I am ever lucky enough to be able to visit the Scottish Highlands again.

Best trip ever! Jamie was our guide and he showed us places that we wouldn’t have gone if it wasn’t for him. He was really passionate about giving us a good experience and loved his energy and his stories. I strongly recommend going with Jamie, it was truly amazing! TAKE THIS TOUR. It is a completely unique, individualized and private tour of the highlands most elusive places. Jamie is an expert in the geography and history of the land. I took an all day solo hiking tour with him and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The views are spectacular and the memories unmatched. I hope to come back one day and will definitely tell anyone I know that they MUST do a tour with Jamie!!

We had the absolute best time with Neil as we toured around the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Neil picked us up from our B&B in Inverness and took us to Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Plodda Falls and had great food at Tomich and quaint shops in Beauly. Neil was funny, informative and knew the right place to take us. We were also very lucky with the weather. We were happy that we can have a more private and bespoke experience of exploring the Highlands, no big groups, buses or tourist traps. For a place like the Scottish Highlands and the area surrounding Loch Ness, the Secret Highlands tour was the perfect fit. Also kudos to Jamie for organizing everything and staying connected before and after. Jamie also provided us with a list of where to go in addition to the tour, based on where we were heading. Highly recommended!

Loch Ness was absolutely gorgeous, a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime, if not more often. The weather was great that day and our host picked us up early from our bnb, shared the day-plan and drove us in a relatively spacious car. On the tour the host was a bit quiet at times and didn't really talk about anything unless we were persistent and asked enough questions ourselves. It got even pronounced later in the day, maybe Jamie was feeling a bit off that day (sorry) but otherwise it wasn't horrible. Considering the cost one would expect a slightly better experience.

Hi and thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us! It's really disappointing to learn you didn't have the best of times while exploring Loch Ness, Glen Affric and Plodda Falls. We try very hard to always tailor the day for each guest while learning about their interests and experiences, so I'm sorry we werent able to do that on this occasion. While there is no script on our experiences, Jamie has a passion for sharing the landscapes, history and culture of the Highlands and you can't usually shut him up, so we have asked NASA to investigate the possibilities of an alien abduction!! :-)
Seriously though, as our 1st sub 5 rating for an experience, we'd love for you to get in touch so we can better understand where we fell short and ensure we improve our experiences for future guests! Your feedback will mean so much!
We'd like to thanks you again for sharing your experience and are glad that Loch Ness didn't disappoint!

The trip was nice but we stayed at his place and I recommend avoiding that if possible (small and has loud young children).

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review of your experience! Unfortunately, you've selected the wrong tour. Your experience was our whisky day where the price covered all entry, tour and tasting costs. I'm sorry you only found the day to be average as we pride ourselves on providing the best possible service, so if we fell short, I'd love the opportunity to understand how we could improve the experience for future guests.
Our guest house is very much a home from home, where our 2 young boys will pop through to say hi. As 1.5 and 4.5 years boys, they can get loud and we try to ensure we keep excess noise to a minimum, but we make that very clear on our booking platforms. Apologies if their shenanigans were too much for you!! You are quite right to recommend to people who don't want to stay in a home with a young family avoid booking with us. Thankfully, the reviews on our booking platforms would suggest, what we try to create here is appreciated by most, and I understand that not all will.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience, although it's a shame that there is no mention about the actual details of your tour. The 3 tutored tastings at Glenmorangie, The visit to Dunrobin Castle and the tour and tastings at Clyenlish, all included in the price for a private day's experience.
