Much better than my dreams about Highlands, also the Guide Iain was fabolous, polite and express knowledge about the visited sites.

It was a wonderful trip made special by IAIN.. We had an initial hitch where we missed our transfer bus to Fort Williams. We made our own way there and IAIN was very supportive and got us on the train. Return journey was fun where he told us stories of different aspects of History. Loved the tour

I would not recommend this tour company and would avoid at all costs, poor communication and service.
We had travelled to Inverness and Scotland from France primarily to do the Harry Potter Jacobite train and had made arrangements months in advance to ensure that we wouldn’t miss out on the experience. Imagine our great disappointment that we didn’t have the happy day that we had planned because we chose this tour and company.
We arrived at our meeting point on the scheduled day of the tour (today) promptly at 9am, our bus was due to arrive at 9:15 and leave at 9:30. 9:15 and 9:30 came and went and no bus had arrived.
We waited until 9:45 in the rain and tried calling the company several times but no success. Eventually our call was answered and we were informed that the tour had been cancelled!
The company had not contacted us to inform us of the cancellation, no email nor call, no contact, no communication, no effort, nothing! It wasn’t until 10:50, on the day of the tour (today), 1hr 20 minutes after departure time that we had an email to say that the tour was cancelled.
That’s not acceptable, by then it was both too late and too difficult to make alternative arrangements to visit Fort William and Mallaig independently from Inverness. The Harry Potter train had also of course been sold out months in advance and the magic of the day had vanished. Needless to say I’m unimpressed and unhappy.

Great very long day. Harrison our tour guide and his side kick Hamish made it seem much shorter than 12 hours. The scenery and train didn’t hurt either. Fascinating history of the clans and other historical events. So glad we had a chance to make this trip during our short stay in Scotland.

Had a great time! Duffy was our tour guide and he was exceptional! Very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. The tour includes the steam train which can be extremely difficult to book on its own so it was well worth it for me. I got to see places I didn’t even know I wanted to see and got to experience some breathtaking views. Overall a wonderful experience!

Nous avons énormément apprécié le tour en bus puis en train pour enfin être de nouveau en bus.
Notre guide a été parfait.
Malgré qu’il n’y ai pas de traduction en français. Nous avons pu comprendre tout ce qu’il disait.
Il parlait lentement et très bien.

- enthousiaste gids (Harrison) met veel kennis van zaken
- netjes verzorgd, alles tiptop geregeld

First trip to Scotland and absolutely fell in love. We were based in Inverness arriving on the sleeper train from Euston which was a fantastic experience in itself. Everyone we met in Scotland was so friendly and helpful. We loved the Ness walk and islands - absolutely idyllic. The Mustard Seed restaurant was very good and the Hootenanny pub is definitely worth a visit. Inverness is a great base for exploring other nearby locations. We did a day trip to Isle of Skye with Luke Tours and he was the absolute best - cannot rate him high enough. His knowledge and his humour made the day so much more enriched - he genuinely cares that everyone gets the most out of their day. We stayed at the Inverness Best Western which was conveniently located and they were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spa facilities were amazing.

Does this tour offer a one way ticket on the Jacobite and then a chance to go up the trail on the Glenfinnan Viaduct to see the train go across on its return journey?

We did it the other way round! Mini bus tour from Inverness which stopped on route, including the viaduct.
I am a travel agent in Florida and have 8 people(4 couples) interested in the 18May tour from Inverness. Can we use 4 different credit cards to book or will it have to be one credit card?

You’d need to do four separate bookings for it. Check availability of spaces first and if there’s enough, do them one after the other. Or, and this is probably better, do each booking up until the payment page to reduce the time between making payment for each booking to secure the spaces available.
