Our guide Kevin was just perfect we had a really nice day. Really enjoyed the museum and the walk even if it was a little cold out there ahah

This tour was our favorite tour on our whole trip! Paddy was our Railtour guide and Gabby was our shuttle tour guide when we reached Belfast. Gabby was very informative and even had her own supply of tourguide "dad" jokes! Lunch went so smoothly having ordered ahead and tasted delicious. Inspired by the Tayto rivalry of red vs yellow cheese and onion taytos we tried them and our hotel room was evenly divided! (Haha) Thank you for a wonderful trip! (Paddy also will forever be the first person to know of our engagement!)

This was a great tour to see a lot in one day. Our tour guide David and driver Sara were both amazing. David was entertaining and knowledgable. Would recommend this tour !

This was our second tour with Railtours and it did not disappoint. John, our tour guide from Railtours, was always making sure everybody was ok from the beginning of the tour until the end, even ensuring people would get back safely to their hotels.
The bus ride along the coast has stunning views and we got to see the Scotland shore. Troy, our bus driver, made the entire trip informative and funny.
Crossing the rope bridge if fun, though not for the faint of heart. The Giant's Causeway if definitely a master piece from nature.
We also got a glimpse of Belfast and the big cranes.
You may feel rushed at times, but considering all the terrain covered and the ample time you get at the attractions, it is worth it.

Booked this trip through Irish Rail Day tours. It was well organised but a bit rushed. Met at Connolly Station, Dublin, by a rep, train trip was peaceful, then met by coach (McCombs) in Belfast. Driver Troy was a bit exasperating and if you value your anonymity then beware!! He talks a lot and there is a lot of interaction (and jokes) which may not be to everybody’s liking. The drive along the coast provides some stunning views and there is a quick photo-stop of Dunluce Castle. The trip includes a visit to the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge which is fantastic but not enough time allowed. Lunch is arranged at a pub on route (not included in price), again with limited time. There is a visit to Bushmills Distillery which is superfluos and this time could be better spent at the bridge. The Giant’s causeway is truly amazing and there is ample time here. Overall, a worthwhile trip and an easy way of getting to the two amazing attractions.

This was our second Railtour trip during our visit to Ireland. It was fantastic! Beautiful scenery. Our guide Pat was the best!! Also, our driver to Northern Ireland, Sam, was fantastic as well. He was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The stop for food was great - everything was delicious. We would highly recommend the tour!

We added this trip last minute when our flight was canceled. It was easy to book and get there. I felt too rushed during the tour. Everything was either a quick drive by or we were told to hurry to get a picture and come back due to having to stay on a time schedule. I would have preferred to have more time to enjoy thing and not be told repeatedly that the bus will leave us if we are late getting back and not being given much time to enjoy any of the activities. The last place was less rushed and when. We were done we had to find a place to stay warm while waiting for the bus to return.

Is there a rail tour that starts in Dublin and ends in Belfast?

Sorry I did not take the train to Belfast. I went with Viator from Dublin and I would highly recommend them. It was a one long day tour and very worth it. You might check with them as they offer many multi day tours from Dublin.
