Muy bonita excursión con visita a tres castillos ( Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle y Blarney Castle & Stone). El camino preciso disfrutando del paisaje irlandés de prados verdes. El guía/chofer que teníamos, Adrien, muy simpático y profesional dándonos mucha información sobre los lugares que íbamos a visitar.
Negativo: Excursión bastante larga de las 6:50 de la mañana hasta regreso a las 18:30 h.

I was a little disappointed prior to this tour, because our Celtic Boyne Valley tour was cancelled, and we were offered this one in its place and none of the spots were on my list of must-sees in Ireland. However, this day tour was delightful.
Our guide was Conor (Connor?) and he was perfect--he managed to drive the bus, fill us with good information and stories and a song for the ride back to Dublin.He managed the large group well and with humor and grace (not an easy task!) Cahir was a surprise--gorgeous, mostly intact, and I'm so glad we got to see this. We skipped the stone kissing at Blarney but had no problem filling the time exploring the lovely gardens. This is a tour well worth doing!!

We had an amazing trip. Our driver, Barry, did a wonderful job entertaining us on the drive as well as giving us some great background information on our stops. There were no unexpected surprises. Everything went exactly as we were told. We would absolutely use Irish Day Tours again, and would love to do. Another tour with Barry. Thank you Barry for a wonderful day!! Was an incredible and informative trip. Our tour guide, Jonathan, was funny and informative and made the day one to remember. The tours were quite marvelous and I would strongly recommend to anyone!

I loved this tour, especially getting to see the Rock of Cashel, which was so beautiful in the early morning light. It was the busy period to see the Blarney Stone, so I decided to explore the gardens instead of waiting in line for the stone, and I really enjoyed this. The gardens are stunning, and I particularly liked the poison garden, which had a collection of different plants with signs explaining their toxic or irritating nature.
Our tour guide was Barry, who was really fantastic, he was very knowledgeable of Irish history and culture and provided us with interesting commentary throughout the trip. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. He was also great at keeping the tour moving so we got to see quite a lot of sites in one day. We had some mechanical issues with the coach towards the end of the trip but Barry was able to professionally and swiftly get it sorted out and we were able to finish the tour without missing any of stops.
I definitely recommend this tour for anyone wishing to see a good variety of historical sites.

Arrived 20 minutes early, but Tour was cancelled, we were NOT notified even though phone number and e-mail were provided. We found out through another driver picking up passengers for a different tour. Now, on our last day, we’re scrambling for tickets to other events/exhibits when we could’ve had the opportunity to plan otherwise. Limited time wasted through no fault of our own. On a separate, but related note, Wild Rover Tours was great and very well organized for our Belfast/Causeway Tour.

Driver wasn't great so didn't give this 5 stars. Blarney castle is worth the trip even if you aren't going to climb to kiss the stone. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and not to be missed. With limited time and a one hour wait in a queue to kiss the stone, I was well pleased that I chose to see the grounds instead.

Guide was excellent, bus was comfortable. Felt wasted time at Rock of Cashel. I understand it's historic significance but essentially it's just a ruin with a restored chapel which they have limited the number of entrants to try and preserve the interior. Great views over the countryside. Cahir Castle was closed due to some event taking place, from the outside I don't think we missed much. Taken to Kilkenny as substitute for Cahir. Took quick look at Castle then had a short stroll about town. Blarney Castle was the highlight and I would have happily given up the other stops to have had more time in Blarney. Credit to the tour company and driver for their handling of,and quick rescue from the motorway when bus broke down on way home.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour! David, our tour guide, did an excellent job! The history that you get to experience at each stop is amazing! The bus was comfortable and had phone charging ports at each seat. There was just enough time at each stop and each place is unique in its own right - hard to pick a favorite!

Why is this different information from the one on the tour companies website (Irish day tours). On their website it states you will be dropped off at Dame Street or Riddlers Restaurant so which is it? Also their website doesn’t have time break down how accurate is the time spent at each place?

The Riddler's restaurant is an additional option that you can purchase with your tour. And at each stop you'll have a good amount of time at each place blarney castle was the most time spent

We took Irish Day Tours and they were great. We had WIFI aboard and it sctually worked very well.
We are planning to head to Galway/ Cliffs of Moher from Cashel the next day in lieu of heading back to Dublin... Has anyone else done this? Do you recommend anywhere to stay in Cashel/ is there a tour that heads to the Cliffs from there?

We were there in June 2019. Not a stop just for lunch but you can eat at the cafe at Blarney Castle. You will have to build it in to your visit time. By the way it was 1 1/2 hour wait to kiss the stone. We did kiss it but then had to gobble down lunch.
