So we did Guinness self tour group of 5, it was okay. Nothing like all the hype people say it is at all. There is a lot there, can't go inside at all without buying a ticket, even if you just want to go to the shop. Honestly recommend the Jamison tour way better than Guinness, so much more fun and interesting.

The Jameson Distillery and Guinness Storehouse tours were fantastic Engaging guides, rich history, and delicious tastings made for an unforgettable Dublin experience. Highly recommend

Alan was a great guide, and was very engaged with his tour members. The Jameson tour was very interesting and the tastings made it a lot of fun while being educational. The Jameson representative was knowledgeable and entertaining.
So was the Guinness tour. That one was much more impressive and covered all stages of the brewing process. We learned how to better enjoy this great product.
Our only feedback is that the amount of walking between the two locations is not very feasible for everyone and a few members of our entourage were pretty wiped out by it. My wife and I could have done without the stop at the Brazen Head, but I'm sure many enjoy it.

For me, it wasn't worth it. It's better to buy the tickets separately and visit the attractions on your own. Although the guide was friendly, they only gave explanations before the first tour. On the way to the second tour, they dropped us off at a pub without asking our preferences and told us to meet at the entrance of the second attraction at a pre-arranged time. If that's the case, there's no need to pay for a tour.

Did the double tour of Jameson Distillery and Guiness Storehouse and it was excellent. Our guide Mary was fantastic and pointed out many items of interest in the walk between the two. The tours within each were very well done and most informative.

Our guid Neil was amazing, and the trip was great. He had a lot of great information, stopped at the Oldest Pub in Dublin for a Pint while we were on our way to Guiness.

Went on this tour. Mary was our guide,shes very enthusiastic and funny. She made sure we were all ok. Both were very interesting and the free samples were most welcome. Despite the horrible weather i enjoyed it.

Is there anything claustrophobic about either the Guiness tour or the Jameson tour ?

Nothing in Guinness that is claustrophobic. I think you may taste in a smaller darker room at Jameson but I didn’t feel claustrophobic there

Its states that the tour is not suitable for children aged 12 years or under. We are a group of adults, with an 18-month old. Does "not suitable" mean not allowed?

Does this really allow you to skip the line? I read some reviews that it does not and that the guide technically just orders the tickets at each site for you. Also, what's the equivalent of these tours versus the storehouse and distillery tour choices?

At the Guinness, we did skip the line. The Guinness isn’t really a “guided tour” per say, it’s more like a museum for you to wander around. But, we did get to cut the main line and then the line for the mini tasting.
At the Jameson, you get a drink from the bartender until a tour guide from Jameson is ready to take you on your tasting tour. I imagine the distillery tour would have been the same - but without the added drink from the Jameson bar.
TBH, I would skip the Guinness one altogether. It’s like a fun little tourist trap, but the really cool things you have to pay extra for. And the view from the tour isn’t *that* impressive. Cool, but the Dublin skyline isn’t super memorable. (No offense people from Ireland, Dublin is a great city with many other spectacular things)

I understand the tour lasts for four hours and visits both the Guinness and Jameson. How do you get from one location to the other? If its walking, is that time figured in the four hours?
