Neil and Alan were excellent tour guides. They had hilarious and interesting stories about the history of Dublin and it’s beloved alcohol. Several surprises along the tour in which enhanced the experience even more! They told you what you needed to know, gave time for several restroom breaks, and time for photos along the tour. They really looked out for you!! There was a lady in our tour that couldn’t finish and to be honest, I don’t know the end of that story but I do know that he did everything in his power to help this family out. Such a great dude!

Great trip , you get yours money worth, Jameson dest guide Leah was great funny and smart. I recomend 100%, our personal guide was Neal also legend .

We had car trouble in Limerick and were not able to make our tour in time. I wrote to the tour operators the night before and their only response i got was "best of luck. Hopefully we"ll see you." We did not make the tour and although their site clearly states no refunds, the car troubles were beyond our control. They didn't even offer a rain cheque or gift certificate so now we'tr out $300 Canadian. We will not be using this tour operator again when we return to Dublin in October of this year. I'll book tours directly from the venue websites instead.

Hi, 1st time visitor from Philly to Ireland. Did the Jameson/Guinness tour today with Letz Go Tour and our wonderful tour guide Neil McCourt. Well worth it and a must-do for anyone visiting Dublin. Neil was personable, interesting, funny and kept things moving all day. He even stuck around after the tour and conversed with various members of our group. Glad we got Neil and even would do the tour again with a 1st timer visiting Dublin.

I booked because I wanted to see the Guinness brewery but I was delighted with the Jameson portion of the tour too. We had an amazing tour guide and a wonderful small group. We learned so much along the way that I would highly suggest booking the joint tour because you walk the city between the two and you learn and see so much rich history.

Is there anything claustrophobic about either the Guiness tour or the Jameson tour ?

Nothing in Guinness that is claustrophobic. I think you may taste in a smaller darker room at Jameson but I didn’t feel claustrophobic there

Does this really allow you to skip the line? I read some reviews that it does not and that the guide technically just orders the tickets at each site for you. Also, what's the equivalent of these tours versus the storehouse and distillery tour choices?

At the Guinness, we did skip the line. The Guinness isn’t really a “guided tour” per say, it’s more like a museum for you to wander around. But, we did get to cut the main line and then the line for the mini tasting.
At the Jameson, you get a drink from the bartender until a tour guide from Jameson is ready to take you on your tasting tour. I imagine the distillery tour would have been the same - but without the added drink from the Jameson bar.
TBH, I would skip the Guinness one altogether. It’s like a fun little tourist trap, but the really cool things you have to pay extra for. And the view from the tour isn’t *that* impressive. Cool, but the Dublin skyline isn’t super memorable. (No offense people from Ireland, Dublin is a great city with many other spectacular things)
