Mini Baby Mel was a great tour host taking us round Manchester sampling cheese and some wine! Interesting places to visit again!

Quite what Manchester has to do with cheese is anyone’s guess. But frankly on a lovely sunny afternoon who cares. We were thoroughly entertained by our host Mel. First stop st Ann’s church to handle the bomb with home made cheesecake. Then we meandered through the city with our happy bunch who had travelled from all over the UK to witness our diverse city. Pride parade in full swing around us. Aladdins vegan cafe in withy grove had some fantastic curry samples and vegan cheese. The owner Ali turned vegan after pressure from an unknown source. We will be back. Into the northern quarter for digestive biscuits and cheese on the street. The strains of wonderwall coming from the bars while the homeless congregate in groups to have a drink or two. A happy day if you are a blue, not if you are a red. Plenty of cheese and wine at the delicatessen on tib street, next to what was the joke shop. Sad to see the army and navy stores are on the move. Final stop at northern soul for cheese toasties and more wine. Stuffed. First prize of Martin Platts stinky apeth went to the fondues for being brave enough to sing cheesy songs and answering cheesy questions throughout. Ultimately the host and the people made the day, cheese was just a sideshow.

Tour started in a Church where we were told about an unexploded bomb from WWII, While the cheeses were great, eating on the street was not what I was expecting. Thought there would be more history about the cheeses and what best to eat them with. The description said fizz so I was expecting a glass of Prosecco or sparking wine not some red or white wine in a cardboard cup outside a shop

Really fun, cheesy, laughy afternoon. Mini babybelle made it a relaxed & informative afternoon. If you want a different afternoon in Manchester, I would highly recommend.

Great day out. Far better than I was expecting. Well worth doing. Mel was a superb guide ! Cheese, wine, beer and a great guide. What more to like?

Absolutely amazing tour. With mini baby mel 😁
A brilliant tour hostess with the mostess!
We absolutely loved the little mini games and learning about all the different cheeses around the world. The, walking tour is great too and we met some incredible characters along the way. Some of the cheeses we tried were amazing and the wine very delicious. It's really fun to be a part of something different and quirky.
10/10 would recommend👏🤤🧀🍷🍷!

Fun walk around Manchester with mini baby Mel. Lots of interesting information and plenty of cheese and wine. Some strange ones but that just makes it more different.

Hi. It says not wheelchair accessible - why is this? is it up steps? My friend is not wheelchair bound but can't walk or stand for a long time.

There is a leisurely walk involved, probably 3/4 to a mile in total. One of the venues has steps and there are inclines on a number of occasions.

Wine is offered, but you can choose non-alcoholic beverages instead. On our tour there were some that didn’t want wine and they got juice or sodas.

Hi - this was discussed actually on the tour I went on. You'd really have to make contact with the organiser if you have specific dietary requirements. The tour I was on had no gluten-intolerant guests, but Max did ask this before we commenced, just in case. So it's worth checking with the organiser before booking. Hope this helps :)
