Very enjoyable & interesting walk. A brief history of Bordeaux with good insights into life here. The walk was taken at a very slow pace so everyone could look, learn & walk. It was a french & english speaking tour guide.

DO NOT GO ON THIS IF YOU ARE ENGLISH! It says bilingual tour but it’s very much a French tour with a side of English. They go into much more depth in French and then give you a rushed overview in English whilst you move to the next location. You are left standing and waiting for the majority of the 2 hours listening to French.
Do not recommend spending you morning on this tour. It is not bilingual - definitely book an English only tour with someone else.

Nice visit, very nice guide. The bilingual visit lengthens the visit time a little which is not disturbing.

Beautiful city and so many beautiful buildings to see , atmosphere and festive moment near the markets .

I’ve gone on many walking tours during my travels. I would have to say that this was the least satisfying. Al, our tour guide was excellent, a native of Bordeaux. The information throughout the tour was delivered in French and English. I would have to say it was about 2/3 French and 1/3 English. I understand why - French is his native language and the group had a sizable number of French people.There was more conversations & jokes shared & understood among them. Aside from that, I appreciated the explanation of the symbolism in the statuary and fountains and how the tram was built.

Bruno was an excellent guide, amusing and knowledgeable. Tour given in French and English. Would have preferred less time listening to information on the river at the start, which was perhaps 20 minutes, and instead heard more about the history of the buildings and monuments. Learned a lot on this tour and very pleased to have been ion it. Thank you, Bruno.

Carl gave an Enjoyable and interesting tour - he was very knowledgeable and even stayed an extra 15 minutes to answer some historical queries and gave a great recommendation for dinner/drinks

Hi. When I was in Bordeaux in 2013 staying in an exchange apartment for 3 weeks, I went wine tasting in an establishment on the Rue St. Catherine amongst all the chic boutiques. It was wonderful. The employees knew the wines of the area very well. You could choose to taste which consisted of the employee showing you a map of the all the wine regions of Bordeaux and then tasting different wines from different areas. Do you know that name of this place? My friend is going to Bordeaux and wants to go there. Thank you very much,
